Caracas, January 17, AVN.- The National Council for Productive Economy, which will be installed this Monday at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, seeks to create a productive model for dealing with and provide immediate solutions to the needs of the population. In this session, led by the Vice president, Aristobulo Isturiz, and whose secretary will be Luis Salas, Vice president of Productive Economy, “all sectors, from the industrial and socio-communal economy, the countryside, and the city” will work to start “configuring a production map in real time, by attending to the real needs: attention and solution”, as the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, stated last Friday, in his annual address to the nation. For this first plenary all governors and mayors in the country are invited to participate, as well as the public and private employers in the nation. The Venezuelan leader said this Monday presented “the key elements of the nine productive and articulation engines of each of these national and international public sectors” At the same time, he noted that the main objective will be the generation of foreign currency to cope with the falling prices of the oil barrel, which has fallen from $ 100 to $ 24 in the recent months. Therefore, the President ordered the creation of a structure to replace many parts and processes of the industrial and production sectors, which previously relied on foreign exchange. "We have to find solutions to replace and allow the entire service industry, the pharmaceutical, cleaning, the food, textile, and footwear to have access to its raw materials, its investment, its parts ”, he indicated.
