Open Day 2021 Saturday 11th September
Welcome from the headmaster Hello and thank you for coming to the Emanuel Open Morning! It is a real delight to have so many visitors on site and we really appreciate your support in the scheduling and management of guest numbers this year, due to our efforts to keep everyone safe. The main aim of this morning is for you to see the school site, meet teaching and support colleagues, as well as pupils.We hope that this will give you a good sense of our school’s atmosphere and identity. Term only started this Monday for everyone, but we are already busy with a great range of events and activities. The clubs and societies are being advertised, sports practices are taking place, orchestras are rehearsing and casts are being pulled together for the annual musical. As well as this, lessons across all subjects have begun and steadily our newest pupils (and staff) are finding their way around the site, making new friends and adding to Emanuel’s spirit, creativity and sense of fun. I look forward to speaking with you all during the morning. As well as hearing from me, you will be able to listen to the head of middle school, two deputy heads, the director of teaching and learning and three pupils.
