Currently craft heritage is in a process of decline so we must think of crafts and sustainability. Museum and craftS centers become vital in this process of sustainability as they become containers to preserve and promote the local crafts and the local artists. They promote better understanding of our collective heritage and foster dialogue, curiosity, and self-reflection. These spaces serve to not just carry the tangible heritage but to promote the continuation of the intangible traditions and practices which would otherwise be lost to mass consumerism and industrialization.
