SMALL APARTMENTS THAT ROCKS Compact living spaces offer significant challenges when it comes to color planning, especially in the case of studios and open concept layouts. An open line of sight means that every accent interacts with the next – at once a restriction and a catalyst for creativity. Popular options include solid-color blocking, tertiary arrangements, thematic palettes, and of course, the alwaysreliable greyscale approach. Not only do these amazing apartments offer color palette inspiration in hard-to-find themes, the designers behind these spaces included helpful floor plans to help style seekers visualize the relationship between each room.

Dark and classic colors are an unconventional choice for small apartments. The general idea is that light neutrals and saturated accents make spaces feel larger, but sometimes residents would prefer for their compact space to look just as intimate and cozy as it feels.

The kitchen and dining room peek around just on the other side of the freestanding divider. This allows someone having coffee at the breakfast table to chat with a partner watching the morning news from the sofa.

This home combines the b e st o f m o d e r n a n d traditional elements, straddling the line between rural and urban aesthetics. The geometric dividing wall between the living and kitchen anchors one side of the stylistic influence, with the large skin rug contributing its huge character in turn.

Even the statement chair draws in the best of both worlds. It's a tribute to the Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair, with rustic leather and an industrial riveted metal shell.

Around the corner from the entryway and running alongside the kitchen, the chalkboard wall is great for both "before you leave" reminders and ongoing grocery lists.

Despite its small size, the kitchen fits in a surprising amount of workspace. Removing two of the dining chairs extends that useful surface area even further.

The bathroom is another great example of modern and rustic influences. The tiles almost look like corroded metal, gorgeous and colorful without tying themselves to any specific theme. There's actually only space for one bathroom in the apartment, but the designer included another style to demonstrate how flexible even the smallest spaces can be.

The bathtub backsplash wall uses small rectangular tiles in brick-like shades to reference the materials used in the living room. This one maintains the same rugged industrial look but adopts a lighter greyscale palette with accents in bright orange. It feels larger, but loses some of the drama the darker scheme offered.

Ingredients: For Butter Filling: For Butter Filling: Butter ½ cup 1-2 pinch Salt 1 tsp Garlic Crushed 1 tbs Parsley (Coriander/Parsley) ½ tsp Dried Oregano For Chicken Fillet: For Chicken Fillet: 2 Chicken Fillets ¼ tsp or to taste Salt 1-2 pinch Black Pepper Powder For Coating: For Coating: 2 Eggs 1-2 tbs Water 1 cup Flour ½ tsp Salt Method: ½ tsp Black pepper powder 1 cup or as required In butter, add salt, garlic, fresh coriander/parsley, oregano Breadcrumbs 1-2 tbs (optional) and mix well. Do not over mix otherwise butter start to Dried Parsley for frying melt. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut the chicken breasts Oil from middle and make a pocket. Season the pieces of chicken both sides with salt and black pepper powder. Now fill the pocket of chicken breast with seasoned butter filling and close the opening and refrigerate for 15 minutes. In eggs, add cold water and give it a good mix. In flour, add salt and black pepper powder and mix it. In breadcrumbs, add dried parsley and mix it. Coat the chicken fillets well with the seasoned flour, dip the floured chicken in the egg mixture and then roll in the bread crumbs. Repeat the process and again refrigerate for 20 minutes. Deep fry for 4-5 minutes until golden or bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Chicken Ala Kiev

Ingredients Mutton Chops ½ kg Ginger & Garlic Paste 2 tbs 2 tbsp Vinegar 1 tbsp Soya Sauce to taste Salt 1 ½ tsp Crushed Black Pepper 1 ½ tsp Crushed Red Chilies 2 Egg 1 ½ Cup Bread Crumbs 1 tsp Carom Seeds 1 ½ tsp (Crushed) Coriander Seeds 2 Cups Water 2-3 tbs Gram Flour Method: Deep Fry Oil Wash the chops and pound slightly. In a pan add mutton chops, water, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, crushed red chilies, carom seeds and coriander seeds and boil till water completely drained (it will be half done). Throw away precipitates if any. Now beat the eggs with gram flour to make a paste consistency and add all the chops with in batter. Mix well with spatula or hands. Coat well the chops with crumbs and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup or any of your favorite sauce.

Fried Mutton Chops

Ingredients

Method: Take a chopper add ½ kg of chicken mince, 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped spring onion, ½ cup of bread crumbs, 1 pinch of thyme, 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp of paprika powder, 1 tsp of crushed black pepper, ½ tsp of white pepper powder and to taste salt mix it well. Now skewer it into barbeque sticks. If you want to cook on a low flame with smoke of coal or bake it smoke with coal, or steam it and fry. At last garnish with lettuce leaves and sauce serve it.

Chicken Marinade: Chicken breast fillets Vinegar Mustard paste Garlic powder Red chili powder White pepper powder Salt Worcestershire sauce For Coating Plain flour Rice flour Corn flour Black pepper Red chili powder Salt to taste Garlic powder Egg Milk Mayo Sauce: Chili garlic sauce Mayonnaise Mustard paste

Take chicken breast and make 4 fillets. Pound fillets with steak hammer. Prepare marinade by combining all the ingredients of marinade and add fillets. Coat fillets properly and leave it for 30-45 minutes. For Coating, combine flour, rice flour, corn flour, black pepper, red chili, salt and garlic powder. Mix well and set a side. In a bowl beat 2 eggs with milk and set aside. Heat oil for deep frying. Take one marinated chicken fillet, dip in egg mix well and then coat it 1 & ½ tsp with dry mixture. Repeat the process and then deep fry the 5 tbs fillet on lower medium flame 3 minutes each side. Fry until a 1 tbs crispy coat is turned brown. Repeat same process with all the fillets. To make mayo sauce, combine chili garlic sauce, mustard paste and mayonnaise and mix well to form a paste. Take burger buns. Apply mayonnaise on bun. Add ice burg leaf, add chicken fillet, mayo sauce, cheese and then cover with the bun. Serve with homemade French fries and ketchup.

2 cups 3-4 hours 250 gms 2-3 tbs or as required 1 cup 2-3 1 cup or to taste ½ tsp 3 tbs 2 tbs 3 tbs

Split Bengal Gram Method: Soak split bengal gram in water for 3-4 hours. In pot, add milk and split Bengal gram (soak) and bring it to boil. Cover and cook on low flame until lentil is tender and milk is dried. (Approx.30-35 minutes) and let it cool. In grinder, grind the whole mixture. Add milk (as required) to make a paste. In wok, heat desi ghee and add green cardamom and mix it. Now add lentil paste,stir continuously and cook until ghee separates. Add sugar, stir well until sugar dissolves. Add cardamom powder and mix well until ghee separates. Add almonds, raisins and desiccated coconut and mix well. Split Bengal garm halwa is ready.

KONG SKULL ISLAND Release on 10th March 2017

In the movie Kong Skull Island, a $200 million extravaganza, a team of explorers and soldiers travel to an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of monsters, including the mythic Kong. Kong Skull Island is the first film Brie Larson stars in since her Oscar winning role in the 2015 film Room. Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston costar. The director of this latest King Kong movie, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, has only one other theatrical release to his credit, the 2013 film festival hit The Kings Of Summer. The last time King Kong appeared on big screens was in the 2005 Peter Jackson film King Kong, which took in a modest but not gorilla size $218,080,025 at the U.S. box office

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Release on 17th March 2017

Due to the success of the live action Cinderella (March 2015) Walt Disney Pictures scheduled their live action Beauty and the Beast for a March 2017 theatrical release. Harry Potter star Emma Watson (Hermione) stars as Belle, the beauty. Dan Stevens plays the Beast. Luke Evans is Gaston. Emma Thompson is Mrs. Potts. Josh Gad and Kevin Kline have supporting roles as Le Fou and Maurice, respectively. Bill Condon, who directed Dreamgirls and the final two Twilight movies, directs this incarnation of the Disney classic. The original Beauty And The Beast, from Disney, 1991, was the first animated feature film to receive a Best Picture Oscar nomination. In exchange for her father’s freedom, a young woman agrees to live with a monstrous beast in his castle, and she may hold the key to his salvation. Expect minor tweaks – just as their were in the live action Cinderella – in this version of the Beast. Alan Menken, who won two Oscars for the 1991 animated classic, will write the score for this live action tale, which will feature new recordings of the original songs in addition to several new songs written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice.

POWER RANGERS Release on 27th March 2017

In the live action Power Rangers movie, a group of high-school kids, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world. Lionsgate, the film’s distributor, shelled out over $125 million to make the movie Power Rangers. From the surface, the film looks dreadful and as if it will be a bomb. But so did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the reboots. Elizabeth Banks, star of The Hunger Games movies, is a presence in this Power Rangers big screen picture.
