Auctioneers Note: Van Gorp Corporation has ceased operations and is selling all remaining machine tools, and general merchandise located at the Pella, Iowa facility. This auction will consist of machinery and equipment utilized in the manufacture of conveyor belt systems.
Bidding platform: This will be a live virtual auction with all bids placed over the Internet using www.bidspotter.com. No bidding on site. Pre bidding is available. If you are too busy to participate in the live virtual auction you can leave a maximum bid and let the software procure your bids. 15% Buyers Premium applies to all purchases.
Removal: Will start Saturday June 7, 2025 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM no loading on Sunday. Monday, June 9th, 2025 through Friday June 13th, 2025 7:30 to 5:00 PM. 6 days to remove all items except the specific listed large machines. A 5000 lbs. forklift will be available for loading the small and lighter weight items and machinery until June 13th, 2025. EMA and Van Gorp Corp will approve the use and who operates of the forklift. Proof of Liability insurance will be needed to operate the forklift.
All items need to be removed by Friday June 13th for the exception of the jib cranes, Steelweld shear, Cincinnati shear, Grenen 3 bar roll, Craven
Arranged and Conducted by:
Lathe, Leblonde Lathe, Haas VMC, Plasma table. These large items need to be removed by June 20, 2025. Buyer is responsible at Buyer’s expense for loading and rigging all large machinery and jib cranes.
Crating and Shipping: Palletizing or creating smaller items is available at a rate of $50.00 per hour plus supplies. Auction Company will determine what will be available for assistance. Contact Auction Company for details. All transportation and courier services are the responsibility of Buyers at the Buyers expense.
Terms and Conditions: All items sell on an as is, where is, like is basis. No warranties or guarantees whether expressed or implied are in effect. It is recommended all potential bidders inspect the items before placing a bid. All items sell with all faults known and unknown. All items must be paid for in full according to the terms set forth. Payment: All items must be paid for in full before they are removed. Payment is in the form of cash, wire transfer, cashier’s check or approved business check. No credit cards or debit cards are accepted. On site payment is available at Van Gorp Corp. Wire Transfers to be completed by June 6, 2025.
