MANKAI, Japanese for bloom, is the root of our project's name, MANTAI, which not only honors the origin of the Japanese word but also uses a pun that relates to the project's signature element: the synanthropic mantle. A plan is proposed based on the transformation of the Madrid tower into a refuge for flora and fauna, which is accessed through a mantle generated from biodegradable materials. In order to do this, it becomes necessary to divide the refuge into four different biosystem packages through a series of transformations that are carried out depending on the needs of the insects and animals, favoring always synanthropy and the survival of species.
