Beachside’s R-Series Pathlights have set the standard for durability in low-voltage walkway / area lighting. Featuring an 18 gauge copper shade, 5mm thick frosted glass, and a riser made from schedule 40 brass pipe, the completely sealed fixture allows easy access to the brass lamp compartment without any tools. M-Series Pathlights The M-Series pathlights are the ultimate in heavy-duty landscape lighting. Made of cast brass, these fixtures are larger in scale than other Beachside pathlights. Louvers angled at 45° to eliminate glare. The lamp is protected by a threaded glass lens. Risers are made of schedule 40 brass pipe. In-Grade Uplights [Halogen, LED] Beachside offers two styles of 12 Volt in-grade uplights with a 4.4” (11.2cm) diameter or less. The E10 can be used with halogen or LED sources, and features 360° rotation, with angling up to 15° (partial cutoff angling up to 30°), all within a 4” (10.1cm) footprint. Flush with grade, it can be used in ground or concrete (drainage needs to be provided). Steplights [Halogen, LED] The E9 Series steplights provide a low profile and small fixture footprint, with an emphasis on glare-free illumination. Louvers angled at 30° provide allow light both beneath and out from the fixture. The spacing of the small louvers prevents glare, even with the fixture mounted at eye-level. The E9s feature 12 Volt Halogen and LED sources, while varying optics combine with standard frosted glass to allow different effects without striations. The L-012 and E12 are both recessed fixtures with flat glass. The E12 uses Beachside’s LED modules, while the L-012 uses the MR16 IR halogen lamp. Both models emphasize the throw of the light outward. The L-012F is a surface mounted fixture, utilizing a domed frosted glass within the brass “hood” to accommodate a small bi-pin halogen or xenon lamp, with emphasis on dispersing light downward. Architectural — Recessed The L-016 and L-016-F recessed fixtures combine the flexibility of a standard MR16 lamp with the corrosion resistance expected from a Beachside fixture. The gaskets on the brass trims securely seal up against the bottom of the recessed 4” can, consistent with the fixture’s wet location listing. Finishes All of Beachside Lighting’s fixtures are produced using unfinished brass and copper. Since there is no coating over them, the fixtures will soon weather to a natural brown color at inland locations, while developing a green verde finish at near ocean locations. In addition, we offer (8) different finish choices. Six of them are acid finishings producing a range of colors. While there is a lacquer coating over the finish, ultimately in a salt-air environment, an acid finished fixture will develop hints of a natural green patina, eventually giving way entirely to this coloring at the closest of oceanfront locations. In addition, we use a dull, brushed nickel plating to replicate the look of stainless, without the concern of rust, which can develop even in stianless steel. Lastly, we produce a white powder-coating fixture for architectural applications, We typically recommend that powdercoated fixtures get used in more protected locations. Because the environment varies from the ocean to the mountains, we do not warranty any of our finishes. However, unlike powder coated aluminum fixtures, the specifier has the peace of mind that Beachside’s brass and copper fixtures will withstand the elements, regardless of finish.
