On behalf of the Greenwood SC Chamber of Commerce, our Board and staff, WELCOME TO THE SC FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS!
IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE to welcome visitors and residents alike to the South Carolina Festival of Flowers in beautiful Greenwood! Greenwood’s legendary annual South Carolina Festival of Flowers celebration is made even more magical with the beautifully expressive and finely manicured topiaries you will find around town. This unique display of plant life is possible because of the Self Family Foundation and Greenwood’s robust business and industry community, and the dedicated individuals charged with year-round care of the artwork. Locals and visitors eagerly anticipate the unveiling of Greenwood’s topiaries as June arrives and enjoy the added attraction in Uptown through a summer of fun and festivities
BRANDON SMITH Mayor, City of Greenwood HONORABLEThe mission of the South Carolina Festival of Flowers is to showcase Greenwood as a destination for flowers, families and fun!
The SC Festival of Flowers: Is an inclusive event that involves volunteers and participants from across the region. Offers entertainment options ranging from gardening and performances to sporting and cultural events. Focuses on education as we empower the community with horticulture knowledge and offer learning opportunities for all ages. Be an economically and ecologically sustainable festival that takes pride in being an economic catalyst for the entire Greenwood community.
South Carolina Festival of Flowers is chartered by the Secretary of State of South Carolina as a non-profit organization for the promotion of tourism in Greenwood County.
Our Festival could not take place year after year without the time, energy, and passion of the hundreds of volunteers. We sincerely and greatly appreciate each and every person that makes the festival happen each year. A special thanks to:
