Sale begins at 10 AM
Ca le Producers,
What a year it has been. The driest of dry and the we est of wet. The good Lord con nues to provide as we need.
We are excited for you all to see this group of bulls! In this market, there is value in inves ng in your program and we feel like we have a bull that can meet just about any of your needs. From top end maternal bulls to end product merit bulls, we have them all.
A li le overview of our program: We believe we treat our cow herd as the commercial ca le producer would and we believe that creates mothers of bulls that will work for your opera on. Our cows eat nearly 100% fescue year around. They are moved daily in our Management Intensive Grazing system and we expect them to produce in this environment. They are given 60 days to breed back and open cows are culled. They are fed open choice mineral throughout the year. As far as our bull development goes, once the bulls have been weaned, they graze in a fescue pasture with access to a feed ra on and hay. Fescue is their primary feed source. Near the end of June, they head to the Wardensville Bull Test Sta on in West Virginia to be developed on a forage based ra on. At Wardensville, they are able to track and document forage and water intake through the GrowSafe System. This is cri cal informa on to document as we con nually push for feed effi‐cient animals. Feed costs (especially winter feed) are the largest driver to profitability on the farm. If we can iden fy the animals that eat less and gain more, we can increase your overall profitability. Once the bulls return from Wardensville, they graze fescue pastures and are fed a custom blend feed ra on. These bulls are developed in a balanced fashion; growing them to where they can per‐form as a yearling, but not overdeveloped to impact func onal longevity.

We believe there is more to this industry than just “pounds pay.” We would love to visit with you and share more about our vision for our program. Feel free to reach out with any ques‐ons on any of the bulls.
