That set up the juniors with starting short-yardage situations often helping them build an 18-0 lead by halftime. While the juniors’ momentum slowed somewhat in the second half, they were still able to push their lead to 24-0 with 5:55 left. The seniors made one final push in the closing minutes of the game. They finally were able to score with five seconds left taking the final score to 24-6. Junior Jada Geiger was named MVP for her contributions to the win.

Friday brought the Homecoming football game where the team also celebrated Senior Night as senior members of both the cheer squad and football team were recognized before the game. Unfortunately, in the game, it was the visiting Allegany-Limestone Gators who put on a show similar to the junior girls’ effort of the previous night.
