Aghion chose the name of the fashion in 1952, and it was dedicated to a friend. Meanwhile, Chloé had their first fashion show in 1956 at Café de Flore. Chloe’s first fashion was a hit, and the brand started flourishing soon after.
Chloé was the first to invent padlocked bags and sold 8000 pieces of them before even hitting the stores.
Aghion was the first female French designer to start the concept of luxury and ready-to-wear pieces for women. It’s a symbol of youth and feminity worldwide.

Chloe is one of my favourite luxury brands since i like the blend between boho and chic. i find the contrast very atrractive, the way they can mix the flowy lacy, feminine styles with a more edgy accessory such as black or leather boots a statement belt, necklace or sunglasses. my favourite way Chloe has been styles recently is by Dani Michelle when styles Daisy Edgar Jones for the Twisters movie press tour last summer.

“Miu Miu has consistently increased every year since 2019, and increased by 208 per cent from 2020 to today,”
Miuccia graduated from Milan University with a degree in political science, and later obtained a PhD in the subject. She was involved in the women’s rights movement, Rivolta Femminile (“Women’s Revolt”), in Italy during the 70s, while simultaneously studying to become a mime artist
After 14 years at Prada and having launched both womenswear and menswear for the house, in 1992, she decided to embark on a new, cheaper womenswear line inspired by her personal wardrobe and named for her own childhood nickname, Miu Miu.
one of Miuccia Prada’s many talents is spotting the next It-girl of our time. In 1995, two years after Miu Miu’s public launch, the designer tapped 20-year-old Drew Barrymore, Soon after, came Chloë Sevigny, and Kate Moss.

Another one of my favourite brands is Mui Mui i like the way they can mix the ultra feminie styles and silohuettes of micro skirts with somthing more preppy like a shirt or tie. i also like the way they layer the waistbands to give that added styling and visual appeal. one of my favourite ways mui mui has been styled is through Emma Chamberlain at the met gala 2023 styled by Jared Ellner where she had two looks, one a pastel blue and the next a black look.
“lace ties to a desire to wrap oneself in beauty, perhaps an escape or protective device in the face of the tumultuous world.” - elena kanagy loux (lacemaker) Lace has been trending for the last few years and i really like the feminie touch it adds while also having a unique texture. the hyperfeminine styles that value all things idyllic, feminine and dainty. i like this trend because it romantices fashion and feminity.
