ROLE OF THE PROPOSER
The proposer should be a current Elkridge Member for at least one year. Proposers may only propose one candidate at a time. Board Members and Non Resident members are unable to propose or second a candidate.
In order to start the process for membership, the proposer should obtain the following information:
Name of Candidate(s)
If the candidate is married, the spouse must be proposed for membership Age(s)
The age of the oldest spouses determines the membership category Occupation(s)
Name of Proposer
Name of Seconder
After all the information is obtained, please submit the above items to Kelley Baker, Membership Services Director. The above items will be preliminarily reviewed and approved.
Upon approval, the proposer would then have to secure the names of eight supporters and one Board Member supporter. The proposer and seconder will write letters of recommendation and the proposer will complete the candidate application. The Membership Services Director will share additional information and details with what is needed after the file is preliminary approved

Initial fee is payable half at admission, half 6 months later Installment payable at age 40 is not payable in the event of resignation For married couples, the age of the older spouse on the date of admissions determines the fee If an individual member marries, his or her spouse shall pay an initiation fee equal to the fee applicable to individual members at the time of admission A legacy is defined as the child of an active member or the spouse of a legacy, who is under age 39 at the time of application
