EXPERIENCE MARITIME CULTURE

Gig Harbor is a charming village located in the southwest part of Washington State. With scenic views of Mount Ranier, this maritime community feels like home. Take a day trip across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge or stay in one of the many locally-owned hotels. The history of Gig Harbor can be seen through the many galleries, boutiques, and art displaying the importance of maritime culture

to this town. Gig Harbor remains a working fishing village with a fleet of about two dozen boats that head up to Alaska for salmon every summer. The fishing way of life is still passed down from one generation to another. Aside from the many outdoor watersports, several distilling companies offer tours and tastings. Walk along the waterfront after a visit and find upscale homes overlooking Puget Sound as well as the many charming family-oriented neighborhoods.
