Auburn School District is committed to fulfilling its mission of providing its 17,000 students with an education that, in a culture of equity and excellence, to engage, educate and empower each student for success beyond graduation. The certificated staff includes 1,073 teachers who receive student-focused, high-yield strategies training to enrich their instructional skills. Auburn School District has had great success in recruiting the most competent teachers to its classrooms. About 70 percent of the teachers hold a least a master’s degree and 10 percent of the teachers are Nationally Board Certified. The 951 classified staff members provide tremendous support for the instructional programs.
