EXPLORE THE LAKE
Located on the eastern shore of Lake Sammamish lies this quiet and serene community. Located approximately 20 miles east of Seattle, and about 450 feet above sea level on the Sammamish Plateau, Sammamish has become a landing place for people that work in Redmond, Bellevue, or Seattle. Several shopping spots on the plateau harbor local restaurants and clothing stores. Visitors of Lake
Sammamish State Park can perform plenty of water activities. There are many hiking trails and scenic woods around the housing developments where one can see many different wildlife species. Historically, Sammamish was a logging town until the timber ran out, making the town slide back into obscurity. Modern-day Sammamish has a symphony, three high schools, and has been host to three major PGA golf tournaments at Sahalee. This community prides itself on the lavish homes and the family-oriented recreation.
