GROUP IT STRATEGY KICK OFF

Under this headline, our Group CEO, Søren P. Olesen, will set the stage with the over all direction of where STARK is headed. We are on an ambitious journey and we have outlined a clear strategy to take us there.
Our CFO, Sisse F. Rasmussen, will join us with an introduction to what important role we, Group IT, play in that strategic perspective and how we are to support STARK on the future journey.
We will also dive deeper into our own organisation, our team, our culture and the road ahead. For what pupose have we been created in a Group perspective? What ambitions do we pursue? What values and principles do we build upon and how are they part of our daily work?
Those are just some of the areas and questions that we will cover, whilst we will benefit from having an entire day onsite, physically together.
Finally, I can guarantee you that there will be time for chatting, joking, getting to know each other and having fun!
Is there something I should do? I’m so glad you ask!
Based on all your votes, we downselected eight sessions to be part of the afternoon programme – PART #2 of the day.
First of, we will all participate in a session with Microsoft on Open AI, followed by a session with international keynote speaker and author, Nicklas Pyrdol, on Working as a diverse team.
After these two sessions, you get to personalise and pick three sessions that you want to dive into. On the following pages, you’ll find a short description of the available sessions to choose between. Read through them and evaluate what would be most interesting for you.

#2
It is often said that data is the new oil and the key to remaining relevant, but what does that mean in practice. This session explores what is a data driven organisation in the Stark context and includes examples of what it is for companies in other industries.
As part of Athene, we will implement many new solutions and processes, for which testing can become a very large investment in the short and medium term. During this session, we will showcase the new test automation tool that we will implement to improve quality when we deploy new functionality. It may also be an opportunity for you?
Our data platform will enable the deployment of data products so we no longer have to guess what the data means or where the data will come from for M&A, application enablement or Analytics. Join this session to see where we are on the data journey.
By taking an outset in our Group IT cultural values, this session will try to uncover how agile can be an important enabler for achieving our strategic digital ambitions. The focus will be on coupling our cultural values to some of the challenges and agile practices that we face in our day-to-day work. The session will be a creative mix of agile awareness, reflections, and interactive fun.
A panel debate hosted by Thomas Buchwald unfolding our strategic theme ‘Digital in everything we do’ by taking a business-oriented focus on digitalisation in STARK and the actual customers and users it impacts. We will explore some of the key digital opportunities (and challenges) across STARK’s user journey and bring relevant business-context to some of the important decisions we face when we implement new digital solutions.
