Per replicare a ciò che qualcuno dice si usa una costruzione particolare e si ripete, con lo stesso tempo, il verbo o l’ausiliare dell’affermazione. So am I!

Per esprimere accordo si usa: in caso di frasi affermative: So + verbo / ausiliare + soggetto in caso di frasi negative: Neither + verbo / ausiliare + soggetto Per esprimere disaccordo si usa: in caso di frasi affermative:

Neither am I!

I’m not sleepy!

soggetto + verbo / ausiliare + not in caso di frasi negative: soggetto + verbo o ausiliare
