Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square) Florence - Italy Upgrading work was carried out on the lighting of Florence Cathedral and the surrounding areas thanks to the initiative and support of the Florence Chamber of Commerce, which promoted a project for improving livability in this part of the city. The new lighting increases light levels, with greater uniformity on the vast surfaces of the Cathedral, also guaranteeing improved colour rendering. China National Museum Beijing - China Completed in 1959 as one of the ten major public buildings in Tiananmen Square, close to the Forbidden City, the museum is still a milestone in the history of modern Chinese architecture. The current architectural shape of the space, defined by GMP Architects, is a contemporary interpretation of traditional elements of Chinese buildings. To light the communal areas of the Museum iGuzzini produced a specially devised luminaire designed by conceptlicht.
