PAROLE NEL VENTO La Provincia di Catanzaro ha lanciato la I edizione del Concorso Parole nel Vento, Premio Letterario Bruno Chimirri. Al concorso possono partecipare opere inedite di narrativa in lingua italiana, proposte sotto forma di romanzi, raccolta di racconti. Promosso dalla Biblioteca Provinciale Bruno Chimirri, vede impegnati insieme alla Provincia importanti partner tra i quali la Casa Editrice Rubbettino. La scadenza per l’invio delle opere è per il 09 aprile 2010. www. provincia.catanzaro.it The Provincia di Catanzaro has announced the 1st edition of the competition Parole nel Vento, Premio Letterario Bruno Chimirri. The competition is open to unpublished narrative works in Italian presented in the form of novels or collections of stories. Promoted by the Biblioteca Provinciale Bruno Chimirri, the initiative also involves important partners including the Casa Editrice Rubbettino publishing house. MENTI MEDITERRANEE/MEDITERRANEAN MINDS Ha da poco aperto le sue sale a Locri la Galleria mediTERRAneaMENTE ARTE con la mostra figurAZIONI. L’esposizione, visitabile fino all’1 marzo, ospita i lavori degli artisti calabresi Adriano Fida, Diego Cataldo, Salvatore Platania, Demetrio Giuffrè, Roberto e Cristian Schirripa, Enza Morena, Giuseppe Barreca, Joey Gulloni, Emanuele Murdaca, Paolo Genoese e Paolo Albanese, Federica Piraino, Giusy Sergi, Orazio Sturniolo e Francesco Scialò. L’associazione che gestisce la galleria è presieduta da Christian Schirripa, ed ha in programma un calendario annuale di mostre e l’apertura di filiali in altre città d’Italia. The mediTERRAneaMENTE ARTE gallery recently opened its new space in Locri with the figurAZIONI exhibition. On show until the 1st of March are works by the Calabrian artists Adriano Fida, Diego Cataldo, Salavatore Platania, Demetrio Giuffrè, Roberto and Cristian Schirripa, Enza Morena, Giuseppe Barreca, Joey Gulloni, Emanuele Murdaca, Paolo Genoese and Paolo Albanese, Federica Piraino, Giusy Sergi, Orazio Sturniolo and Francesco Scialò. The president of the association that manages the gallery is Christian Schirripa who has organised a rich calendar for 2010 with exhibitions and the opening of further branches in other Italian cities.
FUORI TEMPO MASSIMO La storia di un giovane detenuto che oltre le sbarre costruisce la propria speranza: nasce così il progetto di realizzare un libro di fiabe per bambini, scritto dai carcerati. Questo il senso del corto Fuori tempo massimo per la regia di Alberto Gatto. Prodotto da Minerva Pictures e Associazione Culturale E20, patrocinato dall’Assessorato alle Politiche Sociali del Comune di Reggio Calabria, il corto è nato da un’idea di Michele e Eleonora Geria, con la sceneggiatura di Luisa Bellissimo. The story of a young prisoner who pursues a dream beyond the bars of his cell: to produce a book of fairy tales for children written by prisoners. This is the essence of the short film Fuori tempo Massimo directed by Alberto Gatto. Produced by Minerva Pictures and the Associazione Culturale E20 with the support of the Assessorato alle Politiche Sociali del Comune di Reggio Calabria the idea for the film is from Michele and Eleonora Geria with a screenplay by Luisa Bellissimo.

A new romantic-style with elements of new hippie for the The Element of Freedom group which was named winner of the first edition of the Fashion Talents photographic competition. The competition, whose aim is to identify new talents in the fashion sector, also awarded the best make-up artist prize to Justine Zinkeviciute of the U and I group and the best hair stylist prize to Alessandro Galluzzo of the Cheeky group.
