L’’aquraelle Graduate’s Collection

Inspired from J.M.W Turner, a watercolorist from the Romanticism era, this collection showcased elements from his paintings. L’aquarelle, which means watercolour, indulged in sentimentality and individuality. Details were derived from the artist’s brushworks, swirling motion and translucency. This collection retains the main attributes of the paintings and translates them into living works of arts.

Merewif

The concept of a mermaid is re-imagined through kids imagination and creativity. Essential inspirations come from the movement and texture of the mermaid's tail. Instead of creating the signature mermaid silhouette, an A-line shape does not restrict the child's movement and allows more freedom.

Mask Creation

After doing a plaster face cast on my partner, I proceeded to decorating the mask. The photos shown are my processes .

I was inspired from the steampunk style. I enjoyed myself while making this mask as it was something out of my comfort zone.
