Southwest PA Says No More prevention programs include Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM), Father’s Day Pledge to End Gender Violence, Voices In Prevention, #RealTalk for Healthy Preteen Relationships, and more.

We cannot be satisfied until we have zero incidents of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and domestic violence. It’s a big task, and it has to start somewhere. Why not here?

Each year during national NO MORE week, we join with our partners in saying NO MORE to domestic violence and sexual assault. We support survivors and acknowledge all those who are working to prevent these crimes in the first place. Our region has been recognized nationally for this collaborative effort. We thank the individuals, companies and organizations who have stepped up to say NO MORE and are taking action in their workplaces, homes, and neighborhoods to create a safer world.

corporate leaders assembled for the 2019 Corporate Leadership Breakfast to end violence against women and girls. Corporate, civic and community leaders, public officials and advocates demonstrated their commitment to ending domestic violence and sexual assault, saying NO MORE before a crowd of hundreds. It was an inspiring call to action for our region.

Men & Masculinities in the U.S. in the Age of #MeToo with Promundo April 2019 Partners attended a special presentation, Men & Masculinities in the Age of #MeToo, by Promundo, an international leader working to promote gender equality and create a world free from violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women and girls. For more than 20 years, the firm has engaged in research, programs, and advocacy efforts.

Promundo shared findings on how men think about their roles and how this impacts violence and abuse toward women and girls. The workshop also examined social norms about masculinity and what it means for gender-violence prevention efforts.
