Lighting Fixture

The project was to design a lighting fixture that could be used in the home or in office spaces. The design of the light was based on a blooming flower, creating a chandelier. The chandelier ranges in color from a brighter yellow to white when in full bloom. As the chandelier begins to close the color shifts to a yellow/white edge on the petal and a warm orange at the center. Once the petals have closed all the lights turn a warm and subtle orange; similar to the color and warmth embers on a log give off. The color range connects to the mid-day sun to the sun setting. The chandelier contains a transitional dimmer that also moves 8 petals along with the lights.

Cigar Bar

The project was to create a unique atmosphere for a cigar bar. The inspiration behind the lighting design was to create glowing and reflected lights to creating a more focused effect on the smoke and the cigars. The lighting chosen for the cigar bar is indirect lighting in order to give the cigrar bar a glow. The only direct lighting is in the cigar cabinet to bring direct attenition to the choice of cigars being sold.

Fulbright Colonial Loft

The project was to design a lighting environment for a Colombia Loft. The inspiration of the loft lighting was to create a warm inviting environment that can be brightened to make the rooms feel open, bright, and spacious.

Using direct and indirect lighting creates an atmosphere of a glowing space with specific focal lighting.

The project is designed to bring the power of nature blooming and the magic behind it to life.

There is a glint in the lights and atmosphere bringing life and wonder to the resturant. The blooms make people feel as if they are entering another world being apart of something special from personal sushi to the experience.
