BUZZING WITH EXCITMENT Aylmer & Area
Aylmer and area is the bee’s knees, or at least we like to think so! From the queen’s flag to the queen bee, it’s all here for you to discover! Aylmer’s Old Town Hall is located in the heart of the Town of Aylmer and is one of the most breathtaking buildings at that. Once you step inside the Aylmer Performing Art Centre’s space, you’ll be in awe when you look up to the ceiling to see the giant Union Jack painted on the ceiling. This flag is otherwise known as the Royal Union Flag here in Ontario, and is flown as an allegiance to the crown. As for the queen bee, this can be found in another type of colony, a honey bee colony at Clovermead Adventure Farm. We like to think that this is the most magical place for kids and kids at heart, to learn what the buzz is about when it comes to bees. Jump on their giant jumping pillow, zip line your troubles away, or if you’ve ‘bean’ here before, you know about their enormous soybean box, like a sandbox but without the sand.
