COME FOR THE SHORE, STAY TO EXPLORE Port Stanley & Area
There are more than just long stretches of pristine sandy beach to explore in Port Stanley and area. Although, who wouldn’t love to spend a day of fun in the sun at the Port Stanley Main Beach, the first Blue Flag Beach in Elgin County (and may we add, 2020 will be the 11th year of being Blue Flag status). For the adventure seekers, there are stand-up paddleboards for rent at Bridgeview Marnia, or bicycles for only $1/hour throughout the village as a part of the RIDE ELGIN: Bike Share. For the fashionistas, here you can shop until you drop, or until you become side-tracked by the sweet aroma of waffle cones wafting about in the downtown from Broderick’s Ice Cream. While we are on the topic of food, Port Stanley is a foodie’s paradise. You could spend a weekend patio or coffee shop hopping, living your best life. We wouldn’t want you to leave “hangry,” (angry as a result of being hungry) now would we?!
