Elgin is a regional health care center with people from all over the Chicago region coming here for their health care needs for more than 100 years. Groundbreaking advances in treatments are offered at Ascension Saint Joseph, Ascension Saint Alexius and Advocate Sherman Hospital, all providing shortterm acute care.
