WORK BASED LEARNING
A growing number of young people are choosing not to pursue a college track. To grow Allen County, we must create pathways to connect those students with our region’s employers. Through hands-on experience with skilled trades, career opportunities come within reach.
Serving the four Allen County school districts, the Allen County Career Academy will introduce high school students to skilled trades. With a variety of learning labs and collaborative spaces, students will have access to a robust project-based learning curriculum and cutting-edge equipment and technology.
Joining the workforce straight out of high school should not be a non-traditional option.
