Our mission is grounded in The New School Mission: to empower each student through a wellrounded experience and inspire a love of lifelong learning. This summer, our vision is to provoke curiosity through new experiences, leading to positive contributions both locally and globally. We aim to foster a culture of action, humility, and service.
In the pages that follow, you'll see how our program works. Every student will begin with Morning Elevate and have the option to continue into Afternoon Elevate or enroll in specialty Enrichments. Our program is led by our dedicated TNS teachers, and we’re excited to share that 100% of our Morning Elevate slots are filled with qualified teachers.

• This year’s summer program will reflect a tuition increase. However, we are confident that the investment in this program will provide exceptional value. The increase will allow us to continue offering high-quality instruction from both TNS teachers and our vendor partners, ensuring your visionary experiences an enriching and dynamic summer. We believe the quality of our program, combined with the expertise of our qualified teachers, will make this a fantastic experience for your visionary. Our summer T-shirts and lunch costs are included in pricing.
• As in previous years, you have the flexibility to choose the weeks you would like your visionary to attend. However, we encourage you to enroll your visionary in consecutive week pairs (Weeks 1 & 2, Weeks 3 & 4, etc.). This will provide a more enriching experience, as our four summer themes are designed to align with our vision statement and offer a more complete and enjoyable experience.
• Our summer program is exclusively available for students who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. This age requirement ensures that all participants are at the appropriate developmental stage to fully engage with and benefit from the program's activities. By focusing on this specific age group, we can provide a more tailored, enriching experience that supports the unique needs of each child. We will not be making exceptions to this policy in order to maintain the quality and success of the program.
• Upon registration, you should receive a confirmation email from elevate@thenewschool.org. On the first day of Elevate, we will send out a Google Sites link with a password to access our Elevate Blog! We are excited to provide updates throughout the week via this blog, which will showcase students, activities, and all the exciting things happening during the program. Be sure to check it regularly for highlights and insights into your visionary’s Elevate experience!
Every visionary in our summer program, unless enrolled in one of our full-day camps (offered in Week 2, Week 4, and Week 6), will begin their day with Morning Elevate. This foundational program runs from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, providing a dynamic and enriching start to the day. The cost of Morning Elevate for a five day week will be set at $190 and $152 for a four day week.
Full-Day Camps: If your child is enrolled in a full-day camp, they will attend All Day Summer Camp instead of Morning Elevate and our afternoon options. These camps will take place in Week 2, Week 4, and Week 6, offering immersive experiences in specialized topics.
In the afternoon, students have the opportunity to choose between Afternoon Elevate or Specialty Enrichments, providing a more personalized and tailored experience based on their interests.
Our summer program is designed to introduce students to a wide variety of subjects, expanding their interests and enriching their educational experience. We encourage you to help your child step outside their comfort zone and explore classes that might be new to them. This is an opportunity for them to try something different, discover new talents, and gain confidence in unfamiliar areas. Please encourage your child to embrace new experiences and have fun with the learning process!
Due to popular demand, we’re excited to announce the return of two all-day camps this summer! These immersive, full-day experiences offer a deep dive into specialized topics. If your child is enrolled in an all-day camp, there’s no need to sign up for Morning Elevate or afternoon specialty enrichments! We’re also bringing revamped fan-favorites: The Magical World of Wizardry and Art Around The World. Don't miss these enriching, hands-on camps this summer!

Afternoon Elevate offers a dynamic and well-structured program to further enrich their learning. Our Fourth Grade Visionaries will continue to build on the skills and experiences they developed throughout their fourth grade year In the morning, students engage in fun, engaging activities Morning Elevate will be led by a TNS teacher, with the possibility of switching to a different teacher as we move on to a new theme. Dedicated assistants will also be floating through all grades In the afternoon, they have the option to either participate in Afternoon Elevate or explore a variety of specialty classes The choice between these two options allows students to tailor their afternoon experience to best suit their interests and learning needs
