Lake Superior
The Ojibwa people call it Gitchi-Gami, which means “Be A Great Sea.” It is the largest surface of fresh water in the world. On the southern shores, and the northern tip of Wisconsin, is a special place, where the waters are home to 22 jewels of islands and 7 lighthouses. At the gateway to the islands is Bayfield, the place I call home. This collection celebrates the picturesque city of Bayfield, the Apostle Islands, the waters of Lake Superior the lighthouse keepers, and commercial fishermen that watched over the area.
This collection is presented in 2 color ways: Beach Glass, which shows the blues of sky and water, and Sandstone which shows the tawny hues sand, wood and stone.
