La Collection Automne Hiver 2018/2019
Retro fiesta Party This very colorful collection is a collaboration with Paperole, a small, lovely publishing house from Montreal (www.paperole.com). The very comfy and colorful cotton items are displaying illustrations by Montreal artists. The partying animals are drawings from Mathieu Labreque, whereas the illustrated alphabet on the beautiful and extra soft blanket has been created by Benoît Tardif. Retro fiesta Party Cette collection tout en couleur est issue d’une collaboration avec Paperole, une petite maison d’édition bien sympathique de Montréal (www. paperole.com). Les pièces de coton hyper confortables et très colorées affichent des illustrations d’artistes montréalais. Les animaux qui font la fête sont des dessins de Mathieu Labreque, alors que l’alphabet illustré sur la magnifique et super douce couverture est une réalisation de Benoît Tardif. You can find through our collections some classic items but in very loose cuts, which can be worn in a relaxed way. So you can find cotton sweaters and oversized t-shirts ornamented with a discreet logo of your favorite brand : ) Finally, the crew neck sweater with the «Karaoke Panda» has been created by our son Maurice, who’s 8!! As you know, Maurice has been the inspiration behind the EK brand. He’s evolving through our family business and his involvement grows along with him. Recently, he hasn’t stopped giving us his art for inspiration. One day, we told him that his drawing would be produced in the next collection. You should have seen his reaction, he was so proud… This gave us an idea… For each collection, we will be having a drawing contest and will select a winner who will get their art printed on a t-shirt or other. A part of the benefits from the sales for this product will go to a charity who works against bullying at school, a cause close to our heart. This project will be described on the hangtag of «Karaoke Panda» and also on our website. Everything’s OK ! Your little ones will be really sweet and all in control with this full black and white collection, from which every item carries this simple but how meaningful logo. All the kids learn one day to do this infamous ‘OK’ with their fingers. This is part of their learning process and they will use this gesture throughout their lives for multiple reasons…
Vous trouverez à travers nos collections certaines pièces classiques, mais offertes en coupes très amples, à porter de façon décontractée. Vous y trouverez donc des chandails coton ouaté et des t-shirts oversize ornés uniquement d’un discret logo de votre brand favori : ). Finalement, le sweater crew neck de coton ouaté avec le «Karaoké Panda» a été réalisé par notre fils Maurice, 8 ans !! Comme vous le savez, Maurice a été l’inspiration derrière la marque EK. Il se développe à travers notre entreprise familiale et son implication évolue au fur et à mesure qu’il grandit. Depuis peu, il ne cesse de nous fournir des dessins pour s’en inspirer. Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour le «karaoké Panda» et avons décidé de le produire… Cela nous a inspiré une idée… À chaque collection, nous ferons un concours de dessin et sélectionnera un gagnant et imprimera son oeuvre sur un t-shirt ou autre. Une partie des profits de la vente de ce produit ira à une œuvre de charité qui lutte contre l’intimidation à l’école, une cause qui nous tient particulièrement à cœur. Ce projet sera décrit sur l’étiquette du «Karaoké Panda» et sur notre site web également. Everything’s OK ! Vos minis seront vraiment sweet et tout en contrôle avec cette collection tout de noir et blanc, dont chaque pièce porte ce logo simple, mais ô combien significatif.
