2 May, 2011, Monday - Kovalam The trip commences from Kovalam, a sleepy village which rose to international fame with its three crescentshaped beaches. Visiting this popular beach hangout is the pleasant highlight of the first day.
3 May, 2011, Tuesday - Kovalam Visit Neyyar dam, which is situated at 30km east of Thiruvananthapuram. This popular picnic spot has a watch tower, crocodile farm, lion safari park and deer park. After that, spend some time exploring Trivandrum city. The day’s trip concludes with a visit to the soothing Kovalam beach.

4 May, 2011, Wednesday-Day-3 Konni The third day of the trip begins with a visit to the picaresque Konni , a small hilly town known for elephant cages, and forests. Visit Konni Jungle Elephant Camp, a major elephant training center, located 11 km from Pathanamthitta. The prime attraction is the huge cages of wood built to house the elephants. Each cage can accommodate 3-4 elephants at a time. It is here the elephants are trained by the skilled people.
