My name is Luis Valdez, your Principal at Roy Johnson STEM Academy. On behalf of the Roy Johnson STEM Academy staff, I welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with adventure and relaxation that has left you feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on this new school year! We have been working hard to prepare for your return and look forward to seeing you on our first day of school on Monday, August 14 th, 2023.

This year promises to be amazing as we continue with the level of excellence that has become our tradition. I am happy to report that my goal is to ensure all of our students thrive in a safe, nurturing learning environment that will challenge them academically by setting high academic expectations for all students, setting high standards for teacher performance, addressing school culture, and engaging the community. I am committed to constantly exploring new ways to meet all our students' needs and effectively communicating with parents, students, and community members At the STEM Academy, students will be provided opportunities for social-emotional learning, rigorous academics and extracurricular opportunities, and developing positive relationships with students and staff.

Roy Johnson STEM Academy will continue its commitment to working collaboratively with you to provide results-oriented instruction that focuses on the success and achievement of every student.
