Everman ISD

The 2023-2024 school year has been one of dedication, resilience, and teamwork for our students and staff at Hommel Elementary and Johnson STEM Academy Both schools have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence through consistently achieving the Top Dawg Attendance Award, earning this distinction every six weeks throughout the year. This award is not just about being present in class but reflects the culture of responsibility and engagement fostered at both schools

At Hommel Elementary, the sense of community and collaboration between teachers, parents, and students has created an environment where being present every day is celebrated Hommel’s leadership team has implemented creative incentives, fun competitions, and personalized support to ensure that students understand the value of being in class every day

At Johnson STEM Academy, the focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics has driven excitement in the student body, leading to an impressive turnout day after day By integrating cutting-edge learning opportunities and interactive projects, Johnson STEM Academy has created a space where students don’t want to miss a single learning moment.

As we celebrate these achievements, we also recognize that the hard work doesn’t stop here The momentum built by Hommel Elementary and Johnson STEM Academy serves as a model for the entire district, inspiring others to embrace a culture of attendance and engagement. We are incredibly proud of both schools for their leadership and unwavering dedication to student success
