Buildings are stories Litterally.

The word storey, a horizontal historia of windows with pictures on them.

In this particular historical context, arts are dressed with nothing.

This nothing is to be understood as the absence of anything real in the reality; but, in this absence, the art triviliases and riducules the objective incapacity of the social context to be a live subject in the picture depicted by itself.

Never as today, Architecture is fashionable.

Nevertheless, it still remains far from the pubblic interest. It does not affect a lot the improvement of the people’s life and sometimes it worsen the living condition.

This happens because today the architecture has become a self-referring game that revolves around the signature and the geniality, valued in the same way as a brand in the fashion business.

The technique used in this project aims to create a product which is as much as possible based on transparency and lightness, to bring out a contestwith a considerable enviroment value.

The concept relies on the systemic research of light as an essential tool to communicate with the neighborhood. Pure volumes have been used to emphasize the dichotomy between formal heaviness and aesthetical lightness, which is a fundamental contrast to integrate object and nature.

The use of pillars creates a space where shadow and light combine with the context;A facade made by sliding glass panells emphasize the dialogue between artificial and natural enviroment, so as to find the right compromise between architectural object and neighnoring.

Therefore we can lead the basic idea of this project back to couple of primary architectural features: lightness and light, two essential aspects of the method I used in the project.

The method of this project aims to sew up two urban fabrics which are openly in contrast. In the higher part, we have the complex tissue of the historical cetre, while, just before, we find the urbanization of the sixties.

The cohesion between these two languages implied a study of the project from a wider point of view, not only from an architectonical but also from a urban one; in fact, the scale could not be simply analyzed including the area of the project, but it needed a urban research in order to unveil qualities and flaws of both different languages according to our basic idea.

The product was not only an object but also and above all a glue between two existing patterns, without affecting any of those languages. The definitive form arises from engraving a “false full”, looking for useful connections to find the right balance between aesthetics and logic, historical and current fabric, between what was requested in the call for bids and what that place actually needed.

A systemic approach engendered not an object but a process. A process where mechanics and aesthetics blend together and create a product which is not only form but also function and reasoning.

CVT_TRASPARENT TRREEs wants to be a norm within a development which analyze the architectural method not only through an inclusive perspective but it wants to be a glue to create a green corridor from hehistorical center and Chienti river park: it aims to engender a linear park, which is able to integrate center and suburbs through a systemic use of green spaces.

Building process put the open space at the core of the project, giving a wider breath into a zone which is the heart of citizen social and cultural activities.

It leads to anartefact as little impactful as possibile.

Therefore, the systemic use of glass is not only an “aesthetical act”, but it results from a processdeeprooted in the development of the context and in the role of nature as the only answer to the exploitation of the cities. Besides being a consequence of the reasons I mentioned before, the building’s absolute permeability is integrated by mechanical systems combining light, North, South, rain and wind as useful tools in order to offer the best indoor comfort.

Dealing with technology, it may give the highest architectural exploitation both day and night. All that makes the product a useful and beautiful engine, which is going to bring out an exhausted and barely uniform fabric, due to the intrinsic qualities of the place.

The design approach is motivated by economic architectural assessments that aim to create a building that fits gently in nature, that present architectural features such as to make it immediately obvious the public nature of leisure, making them forget the primary parking functionality.

TANAPARK is not just a car parking, but a commercial space dedicated to the sport, a place of refreshment and entertainment departure and meeting again after a day spent out on the mountains; continue to enjoy with sports activities, with a taste for good food and relaxation typical of the best local tradition.Return the occupied land by the parking lot and share and make it a public space was the first goal of design in order to create a park for winter and summer games.

The cover is integrated with the road, which gives the slope maintaining the ability to watch the Dolomites and Moena by the opposite view. The project thus becomes part of the binding sites of belonging to the territory extending the provision of public services and increasing the quality of life of residents and tourists.

The purpose is to create a living system with a sensitive approach to environmental issues; a big covered plaza, a naturescape imaginery where families stay and create a community surrounded by a charming landscape with plants, water and the ground modeled smoothly.

The car access is located on the north-east side of the plot area on Noryangjin-ro, a ramp connect the parking system located in the underground at the “basement -1”. The circulation is anticlockwise, parking lots for the disabled and pregnant women are nearby the cores/lifts.

Advanced sewage treatment systems (ASTS) involve both anaerobic and aerobic (with oxygen) treatment to a higher level than a primary treatment system, resulting in effluent that is suitable for garden (excluding fruit and vegetables) and landscape irrigation. At the highest level of treatment (from ASTS), the treated effluent can be used in non-potable situations such as toilet flushing, vehicle washing and firefighting.

The building is a great landmark for Seoul, the rooftop embrace the naturescape plaza and the building that remind to historical traditional roofing shape. Our first operation is to ‘comb’ and consolidate controlled spaces with other flexible, the development of the building provides an alternation of volumes distributed vertically. The spaces between the platforms function as trading floors and lounge areas make possible a social interaction.
