EHOVE has definitely helped me make the decision to go to college. With all the experience that I have received from EHOVE, it will put me leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else. I can honestly say EHOVE has helped me with my future.
EHOVE’s hands-on learning was a big part of helping me decide what I wanted to do for my career. I’ve got a head start and am excelling, which is tough as a female in this career field, yet rewarding. Choosing EHOVE was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Through my program of Health Tech, I’ve been able to take college classes that apply to my career field including anatomy & physiology, medical terminology and even English. The best part is that they’re free! It’s definitely a lot of hard work, but it feels good to be so far ahead. EHOVE has give me a better understanding of the medical field and what it has to offer for my future. A good example is how we can earn our STNA (State Tested Nurses Aide) license. Many students in other programs at EHOVE have these same opportunities to earn college credits and industry certifications.
Making Friends & Staying Connected to Our Partner Schools By Courtney Miszczak (Cosmetology • New London HS) with Emily Woodruff (Exercise Science • Perkins HS) & Bailey Calhoun (Auto Body • Danbury HS) I made a lot of new friends in my Cosmetology lab as soon as I came to EHOVE, but later I made a lot more friends from other home schools too. I like that I can still participate in sports, pep rallies, clubs and other things at my home school - EHOVE makes it easy for us to do that. It also helps me stay in touch with my old friends back at my home school too. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change a thing. If you come to EHOVE, you won’t regret it!

If you’re worried about staying involved in sports or activities at your home school, don’t! You can come to EHOVE and still leave early to make it to your sport or activity. I play football at my home school and always make it back for practice. Watch our video and we’ll explain more about it.

Schedules are really flexible for many EHOVE students. Some students leave early to attend college classes at BGSU Firelands. I leave school at 11 am three days a week to work in my career field. It’s nice to be able to have a job to get the training and skills I need, but still get my high school credits at the same time. It’s good for me for the future.
