COLLEGE
I chose to come to EHOVE the summer before my junior year. It has been a great experience. I have taken several classes at BGSU Firelands, which has led me to the decision to attend college next year.

EHOVE is a school that works for me. When I started high school, my father always would say, “You need a trade, even if you want to go to college and become something totally different. You’ll never lose what you learned.” Those words, simple as they may be, are what set me on the path I’m on. A path into a career I love. Right now, I’m interning at NASA Plum Brook Station and plan to make a career out of it. But first, I’ll have to decide between starting out in the workforce or seeking out higher education. Either way, EHOVE has given me the jumpstart I need to further myself.

College Credits: Tech Prep & PSEOP? By enrolling in the Engineering Tech program aat EHOVE, I am able to take all of my classes aat BGSU Firelands. This Tech Prep Partnership h has given me the amazing opportunity to earn ccollege credits in Engineering, Economics and W Writing. With the great instructors and flexible sschedule, I was able to participate in Marching Band and Varsity Golf. I love the freedom and tthe leadership skills I have gained.

By being a high school senior and enrolled in college, it has made applying to other colleges much easier! So, a lot of students like me are in Tech Prep, but a lot of other EHOVE students are taking college classes through PSEOP. You’ll have to watch our video to find out more.
When you’re at EHOVE, staying involved in activities and sports can help you keep a strong connection with your partner school. Beside sports, you can still be in other activities like National Honor Society, Aim for Excellence, Student Council, Yearbook Club and more. On game days, you are allowed to wear your jersey or team shirt representing what you play. Another good thing is you can see people from the other team you’ll be facing, and maybe talk some trash to them. (Just joking! We seriously ge get along re really well!)

Choose EHOVE for your senior year
I’m in Electrical Tech here at EHOVE. When scheduling my classes for Senior year, I discovered that I only needed one more academic credit. Like most kids, I didn’t want to take a bunch of classes I didn’t need. The counselor got me enrolled in Industrial Tech for the other half of my day, and I take the last English credit online. I’m learning two trades and have so many options for when I graduate.
When I first heard about EHOVE, I thought it was where the below-average kids went. I later learned more of how it ACTUALLY is, and that starting as a senior is OK. You can still be in most any program you want, or take a senior-only program like Teacher Academy or Global Business Management. I enjoy EHOVE because I love that I get a chance to do hands-on work and still get my regular classes and credits in. I love what I’m doing and hope to go far in my career choice.
