Students entering grades 5 – 9 Week long, half-day camps from 9 AM – 1 PM, Monday – Friday Registration begins Thursday, April 25th, 6:30 AM $65 fee per camp session Register online at www.EHOVE.net Campus map and classroom assignments will be distributed to all vehicles on the first day of each session Register early! Stack them up and take them apart over and over as you learn to create robotic designs out of LEGOS. • Use the LEGO NEXT robotic systems to build and program robots • Learn how to have your robot perform various challenges • Use sensors such as ultrasonic, light, sound, and rotation • Meet new people as you develop technology skills and learn to work in a team

Let your imagination run wild! Join us for an exciting and inventive experience. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life using hands-on materials and 3D technology. • Learn about inventions and inventors • Design, invent, and innovate using numerous hands-on materials, including LEGOS • Create and design anything from games and toys, to models of spaceships and cars • Bring your inventions to life using Google SketchUp, an easy-touse 3D online program

Duct Tape Designs Taught by Sierra Protzman, College of Education and Human Development, Bowling Green State University

#5015 Students Entering Grades 5 – 6 Explore the endless possibilities of duct tape! Ductivities will show you the many things you can make with duct tape. Use your creativity, measuring skills and more to: • Build a boat out of duct tape • Design a wallet, flower, and other items with duct tape • Design clothing and accessories like flip flops, belts and more

#5040 Students Entering Grades 7 – 8 Got game? Design and build your own video game! This camp introduces you to the exciting process of video game design through introductory programming skills, computer science, and creativity. No previous video game design experience is needed. Camp activities will include: • A variety of video games and systems • Gameplay design – components of a video game experience • Introduction to 3D graphics and stereoscopic computer graphics

Taught by Noah Rasor, EHOVE Fab Lab Coordinator Design, build and race a ride-on electric vehicle. This camp is offered in collaboration with ThorSport Racing. • Learn about prototyping and building things in EHOVE’s Fab Lab • Utilize the principles of electricity and wiring • Learn how to optimize your car for speed and maneuverability • Take a field trip (transportation provided) on the last day of camp to ThorSport Racing to race your finished vehicle around a paved course!

This camp is offered in partnership with BGSU Firelands. • Gain insight into new technologies and learn new skills • Design, construct, wire and program your robot • Work on a team and end with a competition on the last day • Please note: this camp is located at BGSU Firelands, Room 242 North

This camp is offered in collaboration with NASA Plum Brook. • Learn the basic principles of flight • Design and build a foam electric powered aircraft • Use high tech tools to cut building parts for the aircraft • Learn about remote controlled flight by members of a local RC Airplane Club • Take a field trip to NASA Plum Brook (transportation provided) to fly your airplane on the last day of camp!
