Previous attempts by various governments and medical colleges in the country have failed because graduates compensate by depositing money with the government in order to avoid the postings. The Bachelor of Rural Health Care Course should be taken up only in those Districts of the country where there are chronic shortage of doctors in the rural health centres.

With the cost of private healthcare escalating ` 30,000 will get exhausted within a few hours of stepping into a hospital. Why does not the Government think of revamping government hospitals and make them efficient and deliver quality care to people? Do they think they can make money from the insurance companies?
