After 23 years, Hunkapi Programs has secured a forever farm in Scottsdale. For the past six years, Hunkapi has held a long-term lease on its current location, a 10-acre farm on the Cactus Corridor. After months of fundraising, the farm has finally secured the funds necessary to make it their permanent home. The farm was originally owned by the Conroy Family Trust. To ensure the legacy of Rod Conroy and his love of horses, the trust was committed to transitioning the property to Hunkapi as the next “stewards” of the land. In October, Hunkapi will launch a capital campaign to raise enough funds to complete the purchase. Hunkapi is committed to keeping the 10 acres an equine facility that provides therapy and hosts community events.
“We are humbled to have such a beautiful piece of property to continue sharing the healing powers of our horses with the community and to continue in our mission to ‘teach the world to fear less and love more’,” says Hunkapi Programs Founder Terra Schaad. “It was important for us to stay close to the people we serve. We couldn’t be more thrilled to call Scottsdale home and to help preserve the western spirit and cowboy ethics of the West’s Most Western Town.”
The farm is now home to 35 retired and rescued horses, two donkeys, two Holstein cows, two potbelly pigs, a flock of chickens and a pack of rescued farm dogs that are integrated into a wide variety of therapeutic services. Hunkapi provides equine assisted psychotherapy, therapeutic riding, and equine assisted life skills. For more information, visit hunkapi.org.

FOOD LOVERS, REJOICE! The Arizona Restaurant Association’s return of the mouth-watering Spring Arizona Restaurant Week (ARW) is from May 19 to 28, inviting diners to embark on a 10-day culinary adventure across the state. Celebrating the diverse and innovative culinary scene of Arizona, this scrumptious event offers a unique opportunity to explore new restaurants and rediscover old favorites at a fraction of the cost.
Arizona Restaurant Week has been tantalizing the taste buds of food enthusiasts for over 15 years, fostering a supportive community for the state’s flourishing dining industry. “We
encourage diners to explore something new and maybe discover a new favorite,” says Arizona Restaurant Association President and CEO Steve Chucri.
Participating restaurants will serve up unique ARW menus, deviating from their regular offerings, and allowing guests to indulge in three-course prixfixe meal for just $33, $44, or $55 per person. These special menus showcase limited-availability or hyper-seasonal ingredients, providing diners with the opportunity to savor new flavors while chefs and restaurateurs flaunt their creative prowess.
More than 130 restaurants are expected to participate in Arizona Restaurant Week, offering a diverse range of
cuisine, price points, and experiences — from hidden “mom and pop” gems to exclusive five-star establishments. Early participants for the 2023 Spring Arizona Restaurant Week include Charleston’s Restaurant, Chilleen’s on 17, Citizen Public House, The Gladly, Dolce Vita, and many more.
On May 1, a full list of participating restaurants and their ARW menus will be available at arizonarestaurantweek. com, with regular updates as new participants sign up.
Get ready to embark on an unforgettable culinary journey during Spring Arizona Restaurant Week and experience the incredible flavors that make Arizona one of the nation’s top dining destinations!

Mike Broomhead to Emcee Gathering of Heroes Event in Support of Fallen Servicemembers’ Children
Photo courtesy of Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation
PHOENIX-BASED RADIO AND TELEVISION PERSONALITY MIKE BROOMHEAD WILL SERVE AS THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES AT THE ANNUAL GATHERING OF HEROES EVENT ON THURSDAY, JUNE 8, AT AMERICAN LEGION POST 34, 6272 E. CAVE CREEK RD., IN CAVE CREEK. The event, presented by the Arizona Chapter of the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF), honors veterans, military members, and first responders, and raises funds for the children of fallen servicemembers.
Broomhead, known for emceeing presidential rallies and advocating for veterans and active military personnel, currently hosts the Mike Broomhead
Show on KTAR 92.3 FM. His passion for supporting veterans was inspired by the loss of his brother, Tom, who was killed in action in Iraq on Memorial Day in 2003.
Steve Hooper, the MC-LEF committee chairperson, expressed enthusiasm for Broomhead’s involvement, saying, “His commitment to advocating for veterans across the country and passion for fighting for the freedoms of Americans makes him the perfect fit for this event. We look forward to having him inspire, honor, and entertain our audience.”
The Gathering of Heroes reception will feature a concert by Arizona native country-western musician Josh Scott and is open to the public for $20 at the door. Guests can enjoy dinner, live music, a silent auction, and fellowship
with the local military community. The event serves as a prelude to MC-LEF’s main fundraising event, the 18th Annual Arizona Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, June 9, at Grayhawk Golf Club, 8620 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy., in Scottsdale.
Proceeds from both events directly support MC-LEF’s mission to provide a $35,000 educational fund for each child of a fallen member of the Marine Corps or any Federal Law Enforcement Agency. Last year’s tournament raised over $60,000, and since its inception, the foundation has raised more than $90 million nationally and $1.9 million in Arizona.
For more information on MC-LEF, the 18th Annual Arizona Golf Tournament, and the Gathering of Heroes event, visit mclefaz.org/gathering-of-heroes-1.
“Beat the Heat” Summer Program Brings Relief to Scottsdale Seniors
Home-bound seniors to receive cooling items and resource connection assistance.
AS THE TEMPERATURE RISES IN SCOTTSDALE, A NEW SUMMER PROGRAM AIMS TO BRING RELIEF TO HOME-BOUND SENIORS IN NEED. The “Beat the Heat” initiative will provide essential heat relief items to vulnerable seniors and assist in connecting them with necessary resources.
The program, a collaborative effort between the city of Scottsdale and dedicated volunteers, serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it provides homebound seniors with items to help them stay cool during the sweltering summer months. Secondly, the initiative enables city staff and volunteers to assess the needs of the seniors and connect them with the required resources.
To make the “Beat the Heat” program a success, organizers are relying on generous donations from the
community. Donations can be dropped off at the Via Linda Senior Center, 10440 E. Via Linda, through May 26, with collection hours from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to physical donations, monetary contributions are also welcome and will be accepted until May 26. The support of the Scottsdale community is vital in ensuring that the city’s most vulnerable seniors can stay cool and comfortable during the harsh summer months.
For a shopping list or to make a monetary donation, visit scottsdaleaz.gov/seniors/adopt-a-senior. For information on how to donate or get involved with the “Beat the Heat” program, contact the city’s Human Services Representative Nakota Cini at 480-312-5811.

What’s that sound? Sound waves are vibrations and while music may be invisible, it doesn’t take much to know it’s there. And you don’t need a fancy guitar or a grand piano to play a song - you can create a musical instrument at home and play it with air from your very own lungs. In this activity, explore the sounds you make with a whistle crafted from a piece of paper.
YOU WILL NEED:
• 1 paper whistle (instructions below)
• 1 pair of scissors
MAKE A PAPER WHISTLE:
1. With adult supervision, draw and cut out a whistle blueprint that looks like the diagram on this page.
2. Fold along dotted lines
3. Once folded, cut the small triangle from the larger bottom fold
4. Open smaller folds like a book, and gently hold against lips with a finger on each side. Don’t press too hard or air can’t flow through easily. Purse lips and blow air into the whistle.

20 • May 2023 • SCOTTSDALE NORTH NEWS myhyperlocalnews.com Cover Story North Scottsdale’s Zamora Acupuncture Offers Hope for Back Pain and Nerve Pain Sufferers, Even After Failed Surgeries Dr. Kourtney Zamora, D.Ac., specializes in evidence-based traditional Chinese acupuncture, helping patients alleviate pain and improve their quality of life.
For those who have been struggling with chronic back pain or nerve pain, even after undergoing unsuccessful back surgery, there’s a beacon of hope in North Scottsdale: Zamora Acupuncture. Dr. Kourtney Zamora, a Doctor of Acupuncture, has been providing pain-relieving acupuncture for over nine years. She relocated to North Scottsdale with her family from Washington state in January 2022 and has since become an active member of the Scottsdale community.
Starting her healthcare journey as a nursing assistant at the age of 16, Dr. Zamora has always considered herself a natural caregiver. She’s grateful for finding her calling for healthcare early on in life. As a healthcare provider, she is compassionate and loves what she does. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Dr. Zamora later earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and is board certified through the NCCAOM.
In a recent Q&A, Dr. Zamora explained that she offers unique services for those who have been in pain for extended periods, often after trying various other treatments. She combines evidence-based traditional Chinese acupuncture with FDAapproved modern technology to help decrease pain levels. Many of her patients have undergone surgery, tried multiple medications, physical therapy, and injections, but still suffer from conditions such as back pain, peripheral neuropathy, and sciatic pain.
Dr. Zamora’s most rewarding experience comes from witnessing her patients’ progress and improvement throughout their treatments. Patients who initially feel impatient for results eventually experience the benefits of acupuncture, leading to a more positive outlook on life.
We sat down with Dr. Zamora to learn more about Zamora Acupuncture.
SNN: What services do you offer that are unique?
KZ: I provide services for people that have been in pain for a long time. People come in with back pain, peripheral neuropathy, sciatic pain, and more. I provide evidence-based traditional Chinese acupuncture with modern technology that has been FDA approved to decrease pain. I use my experience in healthcare to provide exceptional care. Often, the patients that I see have already tried everything else. They have done surgery, tried various medications, physical therapy, injections, and more.
Many people think they are too far gone in terms of their pain. In many cases, this can lead to depression because they are unable to get out and enjoy life. I am here to tell you that there is hope for a more pain-free life.
SNN: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
KZ: The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how patients progress through their treatments and get better. The first phase of treatment can be slow moving. At this phase, patients are often impatient for results because they have been in pain for so long. During the second phase of treatment, patients begin to feel the benefits of acupuncture. They become hopeful, I see an improvement in their mood, and they tell me things like, “I was able to take my dog for a walk without my sciatic pain acting up the rest of the day. I slept all night without waking up with nerve
pain in my feet.” And “I was able to complete 18 holes of golf, which I haven’t been able to do in years!”
SNN: Is there hope for someone that’s had back surgery and still in pain?
KZ: Yes. I have treated many patients with pain after surgery successfully. We call this Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS). The reality is that not every surgery is successful. Many times, patients have had multiple surgeries without success or with partial success.
SNN: If someone is not eligible for surgery due to weight or age, can you help them?
KZ: Absolutely. Acupuncture is a pain management option for these types of patients. I treat patients of all sizes and ages. Once pain levels decrease with acupuncture, many patients become more active and are able to lose weight easier. So that’s a very positive outcome! Additionally, with natural aging, there is no reason to suffer in pain. The treatments I provide can help decrease pain, even in cases of severe arthritis.
If you are suffering in pain, schedule a complimentary consultation at Zamora Acupuncture to discuss your condition. It’s never too late to start your journey to better health.

Housing Market Rebounds: Time to Make a Move?
With home prices on the rise and supply dwindling, buyers and sellers must adapt their strategies to seize opportunities in the recovering market.
By Scott Gaertner, Associate Broker
The housing market is ever-changing, and one of the key factors people are considering is home prices.
Although they have come down since their peak in June of last year, many are still waiting for a significant price drop before buying. However, holding off for such a drop may not be the best strategy, despite rumors of a price crash on the horizon.
A recent survey from Zonda shows 53% of millennials are still renting right now because they’re waiting for home prices to come down. But here’s the thing: the most recent data shows that home prices appear to have bottomed out and are now on the rise again. Selma Hepp, Chief Economist at CoreLogic, reports:
“U.S. home prices rose by 0.8% in February . . . indicating that prices in most markets have already bottomed out.”
And the latest data from Black Knight shows the same shift.
The graph below compares home price trends in November to those in February:
Those are national charts, but below is the average sales price per foot just here in the Valley:
As you can see, supply is trending down back to where we were before this market correction. At the same time, demand is picking up.
Demand has been climbing slowly higher since January. As I write this on April 19, we have had an almost unheard-of percentage increase in listings under contract since last month. This evidence of increased demand is a strong signal for the market ahead.
ADVICE FOR BUYERS
The above chart above is a graphical representation of why since last fall we encouraged sellers to wait and buyers to buy. From November through January, it was looking bleak, and buyers were excited. Since then, the panic had receded.
GETTING STRONGER STILL
Despite the chaos of the past year, the real estate market remains resilient and strong, with a balance between supply and demand that continues to favor sellers. This rebound from the correction of the second half of last year is especially evident in Scottsdale North. As competition between buyers increases, concerns about potential weaknesses in demand are offset by the greater challenge of dwindling supply. Thus, it is crucial to remember that supply is as critical as demand in shaping the real estate landscape. Below is the Scottsdale North Supply chart:
Buyers must adjust their thinking and anticipate rising competition as they chase a diminishing number of homes for sale. Many Scottsdale North buyers have been waiting for the perfect home or a steal in pricing, while second home buyers often wait until the last minute before buying. The mindset is often, “Let’s see what else comes up.” However, if you fall into this category, it may be time to reconsider and act now. Waiting to find a home that “checks all the boxes” could be an expensive undertaking.
ADVICE FOR SELLERS
If you are not on the market and are not in a hurry to sell, wait. If you are on the market, think twice about lowering your price. We have been telling our sellers since last fall that if they weren’t in a hurry, it would be best to wait for the spring selling season. We told them that it will likely be a late selling year. We are just now to that point in the season, and that is precisely what we are seeing.
In conclusion, the housing market is showing signs of recovery, and home prices are on the rise again. Buyers who are waiting for prices to fall may be badly disappointed, as it is not clear when or if prices will fall again. Sellers, on the other hand, are in a very good position. If we can help you figure out your next move, please let us know.

Hello Neighbor! Neighbors
HI, MY NAME IS… Michael Kunze.
I’VE LIVED IN SCOTTSDALE FOR 23 YEARS AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE… of the amazing recreation available around the Valley. It is an ideal location for a Boy Scout leader.
A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE INCLUDES… working at Sagewood and spending time with the amazing residents living here. Then flipping the page and supporting local scout organizations as a leader and participating in youth athletics with my family.
MY FAMILY IS… the reason I enjoy life the most! My wife, Robyn, is a food service director at Phoenix Country Day, my 13-year-old son, Greyson, is about to transition to the amazing CREST program at Paradise Valley High School, and my 10-year-old daughter, Amaya, is a fourth grader at Benchmark Elementary. Both of my children are in Scouts of America; my son is a star scout with Troop 818, and my daughter is a Weblos scout with Pack 116.
ONE THING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IS… University of Connecticut Athletics. I am a proud alumnus and closely follow the teams through their successes and failures.
MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY IS… “Shawshank Redemption.” I simply love the friendships the characters developed in an unfortunate circumstance.
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE… a fireman. I never did pursue that career, but I have many close friends who are firefighters throughout the Valley.
THE SONG I WOULD SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT IS… there is no chance I would ever sing in public. It is not my idea of a way to enjoy myself.
THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME IS… my deceased father. I continually think of how my dad would act in a situation, and still marvel at how organized and self-motivated he was.
THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD WAS… my silly daughter who is an introvert in public but is the funniest person in private. She constantly makes our family laugh.
THE PERFECT DAY… in my opinion would be a day off in nature exploring our amazing national parks.
MY FAVORITE LOCAL NONPROFIT IS… Boy Scouts of America, or now the Scouts of America. I am an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 818, as well as a pack committee chair for Pack 116.
MY LIFE IS… busy at this point. Work has been challenging, as the nation comes out of the supply chain issues and into inflation trends affecting the senior living industry. At Sagewood, we are working to make sure residents have everything they need so outside challenges can make my life extra busy. I’m glad to have sports and my family to keep my sanity during the difficult times.
THE BEST GIFT I’VE EVER RECEIVED WAS… my new Haven hammock tent for scout outings. Nothing is better than sleeping off the ground.
MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE… taking several to hike the Camino del Santiago in France, Spain, and Portugal with my family. I watched a great movie a while back called “The Way” and it first exposed me to the life changing experiences that people experience during this journey.
THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED IS… to spend as much time with your kids as possible and to be involved in their activities.

Your Revocable Trust May Increase Your FDIC Insurance Coverage Beyond $250,000
By Libby Banks, The Law Office of Libby Banks, PLLC
The banking industry is under fire again, with many people worried about bank failures, wondering about their own bank’s health, and their own vulnerability to losses. The FDIC insures deposits – but only up to $250,000 per deposit at each bank. If your account at a bank is over $250,000, or if you have CDs and multiple accounts exceeding $250,000, you would only be covered up to that $250,000 amount.
But wait! Your revocable living trust might help by increasing your coverage. We generally recommend that our clients who have created a revocable trust change their bank accounts and other bank deposits and products over to the name of the trust. The FDIC recognizes these accounts as held in a trust relationship and calls these trusts formal revocable trusts. The trust, as owner of these accounts, is insured for up to $250,000 for each beneficiary of the trust, as long as the beneficiaries are individuals or qualified charitable or non-profit organizations. Beneficiaries are identified in the trust, and language such as “to my descendants” is sufficient – as long as the number and names of the beneficiaries can be determined.
The FDIC examples included in its brochure, includes a depositor with a trust account who has identified five unique beneficiaries. The FDIC coverage of $250,000 per account is increased to $1,250,000 for that depositor. Quite a difference! With increased FDIC coverage using the trust, you can consolidate your
bank accounts. It makes managing your accounts during your lifetime easier, which in turn also makes it easier for your successor trustee when they step in.
The revocable living trust is the foundation for most estate plans prepared in my office. The trust reduces expenses and provides for a smoother administration of your estate. It not only avoids the time and expense of a probate action at your death, but it also avoids court proceedings if you are incapacitated. It’s also easy for you to use. My clients notice very little difference in how they handle their finances once they have the trust in place and their assets titled in their names as trustees.
For bank accounts, you still can deposit checks made to your name, withdraw money, and write checks. You won’t notice any difference from an account in your name, or a joint account with your spouse. With the additional FDIC insurance coverage, the revocable trust provides great peace of mind.
If you have questions about whether a trust is right for you, or if you have a trust you think might need updating, I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your specific situation and talk about the trust and how it might work for you. Entertainment Movie Reviews and Upcoming Release Dates
By Tony Beal IN THEATERS
The
It’s been impressive to see how far the John Wick series has come from its low budget origins, and the newest film is the culmination of that. We’ve gone from the excellent nightclub fights and shootouts of the first film to impressive large scale brawls involving cars, guns, and swords that increasingly escalate in scenes that can go up past 30 minutes. Despite that, there’s still the knowledge that the series never forgot what made it special in the first place, be it the small-scale final action sequence or Keanu Reeves’ performance of a man who is unsure of his place beyond killing. That’s before you get to a cast of unique and diverse characters who are just as tortured, veering down that path, or are just absolute fun. The film is a true accomplishment and career high from everyone involved, and possibly the best film of the series.
I understand I may be in the minority with this opinion, but I expected more from a movie based on the “Mario Brothers” video games. It’s disheartening to see a lack of creativity in the storyline and entertainment, relying heavily on poor music choices and tiresome ironic humor. The film features a celebrity voice cast, most of whom seem to be playing themselves, with the exception of Jack Black and Keegan-Michael Key, who genuinely immerse themselves in their roles. On a positive note, the animation is truly remarkable and expressive, making it one of the best I’ve seen from an Illumination film. Kudos to the animators for their incredible work! Despite the stunning visuals, the movie feels forgettable. However, it remains watchable and will undoubtedly appeal to younger audiences.
“Renfield”
Dracula’s longtime assistant, Renfield, attempts to find happiness and his own independence in modern day New Orleans.
It’s unfortunate when a horror-comedy falls short because one aspect doesn’t quite measure up to the other, and “Renfield” seems to struggle with both. The sarcastic, self-aware humor prevalent in modern entertainment, such as “Rick and Morty” (which shares a writer with “Renfield”), comes off as particularly grating here, clashing with the intended horror atmosphere. Most characters in the film are unlikable and overly quippy, including the titular character and his boss (despite commendable efforts from Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage). The action sequences also disappoint, with choppy editing and minimal impact, even when blood splatters across the screen. This lackluster action does not blend well with the harsh, unappealing colors. While there are occasional successful gags or gore moments, they are rare and not enough to sustain the entire 99-minute runtime.
to genuinely capture the essence of an underground work, but “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” achieves just that. Much of this authenticity comes from its documentary-style approach, with visuals depicting a world bathed in perpetual twilight and actors who resemble real people plucked from the streets. The film’s intensity is palpable, not only during action sequences but also in quieter, small-scale moments where a single misstep could lead to catastrophe. In a time when highbudget action movies often feel uninspired and low-stakes, this film demonstrates the remarkable impact that can be achieved with limited resources. “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” is truly an exceptional cinematic experience.

CREEKSIDE CABINS, TAVERN AND TOURS:
Payson’s Hidden Gem for Family Getaways and Magical Weddings
By Sondra Barr
Photos courtesy of Creekside Cabins
Nestled beneath the mighty Mogollon Rim, just a stone’s throw from the banks of Christopher Creek, lies Payson’s best-kept secret: Creekside Cabins, Tavern and Tours. This hidden gem, a mere 90-minute drive from Phoenix, has recently undergone a fabulous renovation, and it’s now open for spring and summer reservations. It’s the perfect retreat for those looking to escape the Valley heat, with temperatures 20 degrees cooler than the desert metropolis.
But the fun doesn’t stop at the doorstep of your cabin. Creekside Tavern, an on-site restaurant and bar, serves up mouthwatering dishes and signature craft cocktails to tantalize your taste buds. With live entertainment every weekend, you can kick back and unwind to the sounds of local talent as you feast on slow-cooked baby back ribs, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, or seasoned grilled salmon. Sip on cocktails like the Duck & Cover or the Mogollon Margarita as you enjoy the aroma of BBQ meats wafting from the 2,500-square-foot patio in the pines.
If you’re itching to explore the great outdoors, Creekside now offers Jeep tours that whisk you away into the heart of Arizona rim country. Discover the Tonto and ApacheSitgreaves National Forests, marvel at the breathtaking views, and encounter local wildlife in their natural habitat. With elevations ranging from 5,800 to 7,500 feet, you’ll be able to truly appreciate the majestic beauty of the Mogollon Rim and its surroundings.
Creekside Co-Owner Jeremy Stensland proudly describes the property as “the best-kept secret in Payson” – and it’s easy to see why. The cabins, surrounded by breathtaking Ponderosa pines, offer rustic charm and cozy comfort that’s unparalleled in the area. With themes like the Bird’s Nest, Bear’s Den, Hunter’s Blind, and Enchanted Forest, each cabin has its own distinct personality. Sleeping six people comfortably, they’re equipped with all the modern amenities you could wish for – including a flat-screen TV, DirectTV, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator.
For larger family gatherings, Creekside offers more spacious units with full kitchens. And if you’re worried about leaving your furry friends at home, fret not – the cabins are pet-friendly!
“This area was made famous by author Zane Grey who wrote about the mystical wild Tonto Country,” says Creekside Co-Owner Tami Stensland. “Christopher Creek is brimming with natural beauty and is truly a destination for people who want to hear the wind in the forest, the rushing water of the pristine creek tumbling over small falls or the bugle of a Rocky Mountain Elk.”
For couples seeking a memorable and affordable wedding venue, Creekside has the answer. The newly built wedding site offers stunning views of the Mogollon Rim and Tonto National Forest and can comfortably accommodate up to 150 people on the property itself, eliminating the need to secure off-site accommodations. With a wealth of activities nearby – including stream fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking –entertaining your wedding party has never been easier or more convenient. As an added bonus, Creekside Cabins is an Instagrammer’s paradise, with countless pictureperfect spots to capture your special moments. Whether it’s a family vacation or your dream wedding, you’ll leave with a treasure trove of beautiful memories and photographs to cherish forever.
So why wait? Head over to Creekside Cabins, Tavern and Tours in the village of Christopher Creek – just 22 miles east of Payson and 10 miles west of Woods Canyon Lake – and discover for yourself what makes it the best-kept secret in Payson.
