ANTHEM GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB OPENS ITS DOORS FOR ANNUAL CHARITY CLASSIC WEEK The Anthem Golf & Country Club is set to welcome guests to its annual Charity Classic Week from November 6 to 12, showcasing a blend of philanthropy and entertainment.

For one special week, the typically private club will open its doors to the public, offering a series of events ranging from a captivating gala, exhilarating rounds of golf, to silent and live auctions, all in the name of charity. By joining, attendees will not only experience the club's offerings but also contribute to the welfare of the community. The proceeds from the event will be channeled towards two noteworthy causes. The Anthem Rotary Club, a long-standing institution committed to creating positive change in local and international communities, will be one of the beneficiaries. Additionally, funds will also support the Invited Clubs Employee Partner Care Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting club industry employees in times of crisis. The event promises to be a highlight on Phoenix's social calendar, uniting local residents and guests in a shared mission to give back. The Anthem Golf & Country Club is located at 2708 W. Anthem Club Dr. For more information, visit go.clubcorpcharityauctions.com/anthem/campaign/ details. PHOENIX IS SELECTED AS ONE OF EIGHT CITIES FOR BLOOMBERG PHILANTHROPIES' PUBLIC ART CHALLENGE Bloomberg Philanthropies has selected Phoenix for a $1 million Public Art Challenge grant. This unique grant program supports temporary public art projects that address important local civic issues in cities nationwide. Phoenix's project, ¡Sombra! (Shade) will commission artists to create shading and cooling installations in response to extreme urban heat.

These works may include shade and cooling structures that create street-scale microclimates, installations that promote the protective beauty, comfort, and cooling power of hats and parasols, and other participatory arts experiences that provoke dialogue about rising temperatures and sustainable heat-mitigating tactics. The project will conclude with a family-friendly festival that will engage residents with these public art installations and feature activities for children, food, and music to celebrate and empower the community.

The city of Phoenix was named a finalist in June and is one of just eight winners from more than 150 project proposals received from cities in 40 U.S. states. The project will be developed over the next two years. Palo Verde is the country's largest power producer in the United States and all of it is 100% clean and carbon-free.
