Senior Chronicle YOUR ESSENTIAL ROUND-UP FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 20 APRIL 2026 Message from the Headmaster
It has been a pleasure to welcome pupils back to Cranmore at the start of the Summer Term. The confidence, enthusiasm and commitment shown by pupils last term, and during the holidays through the ski trip and revision courses, have provided an excellent foundation for a positive start to the term ahead.
This first week reflects the breadth and vibrancy of school life. Senior pupils have begun the term with a range of important academic activities, including GCSE assessments in PE, Art and Drama, while pupils across all year groups have settled quickly back into their routines. We were also delighted to welcome prospective Sixth Form families to our Offer Holders’ Evening, and Year 10 and 11 pupils to the EST Careers Fair, offering valuable opportunities for pupils to explore future educational and career pathways. The week concludes with events that bring the school community together, including the CPA Colour Run and Outdoor Cinema for Year 10, while the Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice expedition begins at the weekend.
The Summer Term promises to be both busy and rewarding, and we look forward to the many academic, sporting and cultural highlights ahead.
