Senior Chronicle YOUR ESSENTIAL ROUND-UP FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 4 MAY 2026 Message from the Headmaster We were delighted to welcome prospective families to our recent Open Morning, which provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase the breadth of opportunity and sense of community that defines Cranmore. Visitors universally commented on the passion with which our pupil tour guides spoke about their experience at Cranmore; they were an excellent reflection of our school.
Last Friday, we also enjoyed a memorable Year 11 Dinner, celebrating the cohort’s time with us and recognising their contribution to the life of the school. This week on Thursday afternoon, we marked a further milestone as Year 11 began study leave. While they now begin this important period of independent preparation, they continue to have our full support, with staff readily available to guide them through the exam season. On Thursday, Year 8 pupils engaged thoughtfully in a series of activities and discussions as part of their exploration of faith. It was encouraging to see the maturity and openness with which they approached these important themes. During this shorter week, fixtures still have been played across an impressive five sports including athletics, cricket, golf, rowing and tennis. As ever, it has been a week that reflects both the academic focus and wider richness of school life. Mr Everitt
