A Strong Dynamic Partnership

A powerful and exciting educational proposition, delivering all the advantages of both single sex and co-education to girls and boys aged 2 –18.

In September 2023, Manor House School joined the Effingham Schools Trust partnership, forming a powerful educational triumvirate. The three schools are conveniently located just a few miles apart, each with its own stunning site in the heart of Surrey and, together, offering a superb array of outstanding facilities.
After careful consideration the governors have taken the decision to combine the two senior schools for girls on the St. Teresa’s site, which enables the development of the Prep School on the beautiful 17-acre Manor House site. This will considerably enhance the opportunities for the youngest children and the Prep-aged girls within our partnership. This will also enable the senior pupils to benefit from a larger campus and have access to a wide range of outstanding facilities and opportunities.
At the same time, following parental demand, we will re-establish the Nursery for boys and girls at Cranmore whilst retaining the co-ed nursery at Manor House . This will make it easier for parents to access our excellent Nursery provision across a broader area. With two feeder Nursery Schools, the diamond model will be strengthened further.
The Diamond Model of schooling offers the best of both worlds - combining single-sex academic teaching with co-educational social environments.
It is designed to give pupils:

Focused, tailored learning that supports pupils throughout their formative years
Strong academic results
Enhanced pastoral care with tailored personalised support
Balanced social development with mixed extra-curricular opportunities
A smoother educational journey from early years to adulthood - dedicated to preparing pupils academically and socially for life beyond school
With three magnificent sites, Effingham Schools Trust provides an outstanding educational offering to its 1,200 pupils.
