Prep Chronicle YOUR ESSENTIAL ROUND-UP FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 22 JUNE 2026 Message from the Head of Prep Despite the soaring temperatures, the children have enjoyed yet another fantastic and memorable week.
Friday’s Proms in the Paddock was a special occasion and the music continued into this week with our Young Musician Winners Concert. The calibre of performance was breathtakingly high, showcasing our pupils’ dedication and talent. Our catering team really have outdone themselves recently. From the theatrically inspired nibbles served for our Drama Showcases through to the amazing menu they put together following suggestions from our EDI Committee for a Windrush celebration, they have pulled out all the stops. Year 6 loved their churros tasting afternoon, while Year 5 got to make (and then eat) their own madeleines. Thank you to them and everyone else involved with distributing ice-lollies and ice-cream pots to the children when the afternoons grew hotter. This weekend, the Henderson Field plays host to the annual CPA Crancamp event. Thank you to those working so hard behind the scenes to make it happen. I hope it is a wonderful weekend. Mr Heaver
