The United Nations Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption (UN-PRAC) Project is assisting Pacific Island countries (PICs) to strengthen their national
integrity systems, promote ‘clean’ governments, and create an enabling environment to increase trade, business, investment and sustainable
development in the region. The objective of this brochure is threefold. Firstly, it outlines UN-PRAC’s analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on
the fight against corruption and how this is impacting the Pacific. Secondly, it stresses the synergies between UN-PRAC and the “Partnerships
for Recovery: Australia’s COVID-19 Development Response”. Lastly, it sets out some key achievements of the Project so far and focus areas going
forwards in this COVID-19 era.
