Session Descriptions
As a teacher-founded company, our mission at eDynamic Learning is to partner with you to ensure you achieve the most important ROI your Return on Instruction. We provide personalized professional development experiences to ensure you are equipped with the most relevant, research-based, teaching methods and strategies.
Job-Embedded Coaching sessions will be personalized by eDynamic Learning to meet the specific and unique needs of each teacher. Using a variety of information-gathering strategies, our trainers will develop tailored sessions to help teachers feel more confident in their use of eDynamic Learning as well as in the strategies they use with their students. Job-Embedded Coaching session can be applied in any order and will be based on teacher-request and trainer feedback. These workshops work best in a 1:1 environment with the trainer or with a small cohort of teachers.
Learning Outcomes
Each session will be customized to best support teachers’ needs, but common takeaways may include:
• Comprehensive understanding of the eDynamic Learning curriculum and tools
• Explore new ways to deliver content to students
• Identify strategies to more effectively utilize the eDynamic Learning curriculum and activities
• Establish confidence delivering the eDynamic Learning curriculum and activities
• Identify and implement new strategies to more effectively deliver the eDynamic Learning curriculum
1 Focus Walk Workshops
Focus Walks are a great way for teachers to get to know eDynamic Learning’s curriculum more intimately. Based on feedback provided by the teacher gathered in the form of a survey, an eDynamic Learning trainer will build a virtual workshop focused on areas of the content and platform that will help the teacher more effectively utilize the eDL product. Common topics requested include: a deep dive into eDynamic Learning curriculum and assignments, options for making the curriculum your own, strategies for implementation, customization to accommodate IEP/ 504 plans, ways to motivate students using built-in tools, how to better identify struggling students, and more!
A Focus Walk can be used anytime during the school year and most often take place virtually.
2 Modeling Lessons Workshops
Lesson modeling is a fantastic session to help eDynamic Learning teachers see new and/or different ways eDL lessons and activities can be delivered to students. The teacher will meet with an eDynamic Learning trainer via a Zoom call, and together they will determine a lesson or activity the teacher would benefit from seeing the trainer deliver to their students. The eDL trainer will take all important components into account when developing the session for students: device access, number of students, classroom setup, current teaching and implementation strategies, and more.
Work 1:1 or in a small group of teachers with the trainer to co-plan lessons/activities and tailor them to meet the needs of their students and teaching style. Teachers are encouraged to bring their own activities to incorporate into the eDL course. Towards the end, teachers will have a chance o practice delivering the lesson/activity to the trainer and vice versa.
3 Co-Planning & Co-Teaching Workshops
Co-Planning and Co-Teaching sessions are excellent to help teachers build confidence in their delivery of the eDynamic Learning curriculum. The teacher will meet with an eDynamic Learning trainer via a Zoom call, and together they will determine a lesson or activity the teacher would benefit from co-teaching with the trainer. This tag-team session with the teacher as lead will help teachers find even more conference in delivering the eDL curriculum to their students.
4 Observation and Feedback Workshops
Observations are priceless sessions because teachers receive effective feedback on what’s going well, where growth opportunities exist, and suggestions to enhance or find more efficient ways to use the eDynamic Learning curriculum. An eDL trainer will observe multiple sections, where applicable, of the teacher’s eDynamic Learning classroom and will capture relevant information that will later be turned into actionable feedback for the teacher.
