Welcome to the EDVA Newsletter, Christmas Edition This edition is very much a celebration of the year at EDVA and within the sector and as such this is a bumper version. We have now settled into our new premises which, after being a long time coming, has been a great relief for us to be able to have all of our staff in the one spot being able to provide integrated services to our members. As we close the year, we will, within the Newsletter look back at the successes achieved within East Dunbartonshire over the year. EDVA have dealt with over 5000 enquiries, seen an increase of over 30% in volunteering, and saw more than a million pounds in new money come into the sector and local groups. -Gilbert Grieve, CEO

Grand Opening of New Premises! On the 19th September 2013 we had our official East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action launch for our new premises on Townhead in Kirkintilloch. The launch was organised by our own Rachel Easson and board member Liz Ibbotson with invitations designed and distributed by our marketing team‌ Continued on next page.
