From the prohibition of enjoyment to the delight of prohibition

Due to the release of a sensational film "Spotlight" question of pedophilia among priests rose again! According to legend, Alfred Hitchcock (who is known to be a Catholic) was driving through the small Swiss town; suddenly he pointed his finger at something out of the car window and said, "This is the most terrible scene I've ever seen!" A friend, who was sitting next to him, stared in the direction indicated by Hitchcock: there was nothing special - just a priest, who, during a conversation with the boy put his hand on his shoulder. Hitchcock stopped the car, rolled down the window and shouted, "Run, boy, save your life!" Although this anecdote may be regarded as a manifestation of showman's eccentricity, it leads us to the very "heart of darkness" of the Catholic Church.

Let us recall the numerous cases of pedophilia, shaking the Catholic Church: when its representatives insist that these precedents, although regrettable, is an internal matter of the church, and strongly oppose the police investigation, they are partly right. Pedophilia of Catholic priests is not something related only to those persons who, due to accidental causes have chosen the profession of priest; This phenomenon affects the Catholic Church as a whole, it is inscribed in its very functioning as a socio-symbolic institution. Pedophilia is not a "private" unconscious of specific individuals, but by the "unconscious" of the institution itself: it arises not because the Catholic Church has to survive, adapting to the pathological realities of libidinal life, but because the Church needs that pedophilia for self-reproduction. One can imagine the "normal" priest (not pedophile), who, after many years of service nevertheless appears involved in pedophilia because the logic of the institution encourages him to do so. This institutional unconscious indicates the disavowed obscene underside that, exactly as disavowed, supports the existence of a public institution. In other words, the church is not simply trying to cover up the awkward scandals; defending itself, it defending its deepest salacious secret.

The identification with this secret side - the most important component of the identity of a Christian priest: if a priest seriously (not just rhetorically) condemn these scandals, he thereby excludes himself from the church community and ceases to be "one of us". So the answer to the reluctance of the church to investigate these incidents should be not only in the fact that pedophilia - a criminal offense and refusal to assist in the investigation of these cases, is complicity in a crime; it should be noted that the Church as such, as an institution, should be examined for the way in which it systematically creates conditions for such crimes. The most alarming of these crimes - not that they are committed in a religious environment: This environment is an integral part of them and is directly used as a tool of seduction: ... Seduction technique involves religion. Almost always prayer used as a prelude. The places where the corruption starts, permeated by religion the sacristy, confessional, the priest's dwelling, Catholic schools and

clubs with sacred images on the walls. <...> In addition to overly stringent of sexual church regulations (for example, a mortal sin of masturbation - even the once loyal to it and to profess, go to hell), there is a guide that can free you from the dark learning through the sacred exception. [Predator] uses religion to sanction sex as part of his sacred service.

In the summer of 2012 in Slovenia there has been a striking manifestation of obscenity of Catholic Church. In this show the two parties were involved. Conservative Cardinal Franz Rode, Slovenian, occupying a high position in the ranks of the church nomenclature and Alojz Uran, Archbishop, who was at first dismissed by the Vatican, and even then was ordered to leave Slovenia immediately until the time as the charges against him will be fully formulated. Since Uran was very popular among the ordinary faithful Catholics, rumors began to circulate about the reasons for such a severe

punishment. After about a week of awkward silence church authorities reluctantly proclaimed: Uran is suspected that he was the father of an illegitimate child - an explanation that, for various reasons, was met with wide distrust. Firstly, rumors about the paternity of Uran were circulated for decades - so why the church did not take action sooner, when Uran was appointed Archbishop of Slovenia? Second, Uran has publicly stated that he is ready to pass a DNA test or any other test to prove that he had no children. But whatever the truth, the public was shocked by the double standards demonstrated by the Catholic nomenclature: while Uran was ordered to leave Slovenia because of suspicion of paternity, the reaction of the Church was much softer in numerous cases of pedophilia among priests - these incidents have not been reported to the police, priests who were responsible for these cases were not punished, but merely moved to another part of Slovenia, and parents of children who have experienced violence was pressured to keep it in a secret. The situation was aggravated by outright cynical "realism" shown by Cardinal Rode in a radio interview, he said that "it is statistically irrelevant issue - one or at least two of the hundreds of priests has a kind of adventure." Public attention soon attracted the expression "a kind of adventure," used as a euphemism for pedophilia: the brutal crime of raping a children has been presented as a normal manifestation of reckless "cheerful" (another expression used by Rode) - quipped Cardinal in another interview : "In forty years of age occur small sins, is not it?" There it is, the Catholic obscenity in its purest form: no solidarity with the victims (children) behind the posture of moral character, we see a poorly concealed solidarity with the criminals, cynical realism (that's life, under the the skin we are all red, priests can also be reckless and cheerful ...), so that in the end the true victim appears the church itself, and criminals - partisan media who unleashed a campaign against it. The position of the Church is clear: pedophilia - our dirty secret, and normalized in such capacity, the secret is the basis of our normality,

while being a father of the child - is a crime that must be punished ruthlessly; or, like a hundred years ago, G.K. Chesterton said about Christianity in "Orthodoxy" (not knowing, of course, all that follows from these words): “External side - a strict guardian of ethical constraints and professional priests; but human life dancing within, as a child, and drinking wine, as a man, because a fence of Christianity saves pagan freedom.
