Colored illusions that deceive our brains

We are surrounded by the illusion from the birth, so-called additional reality created by our brain. It is so familiar to us that we do not notice it at all. It is an illusion of color. For example, a rainbow. We do not look at the rainbow, we are "creating" it. What we see, in fact, connected with the peculiarities of human vision - for other living creatures that do not have a similar structure of the eye, the rainbow does not exist. Here is evidence to show how easy it is to fool our eyes.


How many colors do you see on the picture?

Blue and green spiral is actually one color - green. There is no blue color here.


Brown square

Brown square in the center of the upper face and the "orange" in the center of the front face - the same color. It seems that the lower part of the figure is lighter?


Close with finger horizontal boundary between the upper and lower parts of of the figure. Do you see chessboard with black and white cells?


Gray halfs of black and white cells - the same shade. Gray is perceived as black, then as white. The figures of horses have the same color

How many color shades here, except white? 3? 4?

In fact, only two - pink and green.


And what color the squares here?

Only green and pink. Optical illusion


Look at the point and a gray stripe on the orange background is ... blue. Do you see a light gray diagonal stripes?

If staring a few seconds at the dot in the center, they will disappear.

For 30 seconds look at 4 points in the center of the picture, and then move your eyes to the ceiling and blink. What did you see?


At the intersection of all the white stripes, with the exception of the intersection, where you lock glance at the moment, can be seen a little black spot, which is actually not exist.


Disappearing

If staring a few seconds at the dot in the center, gray background disappears. Concentrate look at the center of the picture.


After a while vague colored images disappear and turn into a solid white background. It's not animation!


This is usual picture, all the elements which are absolutely still. It is your perception playing with you. Hold your glance for a few seconds at one point, and the picture will stops moving. Horizontal lines are parallel?

Yes, absolutely parallel! So do not always believe your eyes!
