The course focuses on the research-inspired laboratory experience in biochemistry eld. You will be introduced to the standard biochemical techniques so that you can able to investigate the present and existing research topics. Particular focus will be given on the chemical techniques of the cancer drug Gleevec. Apart from these, the course focuses on the protein expression, puri cation, and gel analysis, PCR, site-directed mutagenesis, kinase activity assays, and protein structure viewing.
