Worldwide High School Programs

Our promise.

The number one choice for high school abroad.

At Educatius, we create life-changing high school experiences abroad that empower young people to discover who they are—and who they want to become. Each year, for more than 22 years, we’ve welcomed thousands of international students and families on this adventure with care, expertise, and a deep understanding of what this experience makes possible.

Whether it’s navigating academics in a new language, bonding with a second family, or developing independence that lasts a lifetime—our exchange programs are designed to challenge, inspire, and transform.

Selected by students. Trusted by parents. Preferred by high schools.

Our focus is solely on high school programs abroad. This means we bring unmatched attention to quality, safety, and outcomes for every young student. We’re proud to be the trusted partner of global education organizations and families alike—and we continue to raise the standard, year after year.

Our 3 student commitments

1. The perfect program for every student.

Educatius offers the widest choice of destinations, schools, and academic pathways to fit every student’s goals and budget. Flexible options and expert guidance ensure that each student’s exchange experience is uniquely their own. Some students fast-track toward top universities, while others join sports clubs for fun or competition. Many immerse themselves in a new culture, master a second language, or pursue opportunities that their high school at home cannot provide. With Educatius, these possibilities become reality

2. Host family happiness.

Finding the right host family is at the heart of a successful exchange. Our matching process is thoughtful and personalized—and if the first placement doesn’t work out, we’ll make it right.

3. Success in and beyond the classroom.

We support students at all academic levels—from cultural exchange to college-bound. But success isn’t just about school. That’s why we provide resilience training and ongoing support for students’ personal well-being, too.

United States

For over two decades, the USA has been the most popular high school destination for our students. From world-class cities to friendly Midwestern towns, from famous beaches to mountains, forests, and deserts—the USA offers something for everyone.

Wherever our students study, they experience the unique American high school spirit: after-school clubs, sports teams, pep rallies, prom, homecoming, and Friday Night Football. Academics are just as diverse, with options such as Science, College Prep, STEM, Languages, AP courses, Multimedia, Art, and Music.

Educatius’ experienced team, based at the USA headquarters in Boston and in local communities across the country, ensures that international students are well prepared and fully supported before and during their exchange.

Country: Scotland Program: Classic

Why choose Scotland’s Classic Exchange Program?

1. A flexible education system. Students in Scotland choose 4–6 subjects depending on their year group, with a wide variety of options available. Subjects can be studied at different levels within the same class year, so international students can find the right academic fit. Unlike in England, students as young as 14 are accepted, opening the program to younger learners.

2. Authentic community immersion. Scottish schools are closely tied to their communities, often sharing facilities like leisure centers or community halls. Schools host regular events in sports, music, and performing arts that bring local residents together. With overwhelmingly Scottish classmates and typically fewer than 10–15 international students per school, students enjoy a true immersion experience.

3. Close to Edinburgh. Our placement area is just 30 minutes by public transport from Scotland’s capital city. Edinburgh offers historic architecture, world-famous festivals, and a vibrant cultural scene, giving students the chance to explore one of Europe’s most inspiring destinations while living in a smaller, community-based setting.

Our mission extends beyond the classroom.

Our impact.

At Educatius, our mission goes far beyond the classroom.

We believe in the power of education to transform lives—not just for the exchange students we serve, but for the communities we touch and the future we’re building together.

Access to education.

Through our non-profit initiative Aiducatius, we support schools in underserved areas of Africa with essentials like teacher salaries, meals, school supplies, and uniforms. Every international student who joins our programs contributes to this work—extending the gift of education to others. This hands-on aid ensures sustainable education, benefiting not just students but their families and communities.

Climate-conscious exchange.

We’ve been planting trees in Tanzania since 2009 to offset the environmental impact of international travel. Our efforts have supported hundreds of thousands of trees and improved local ecosystems for over 60,000 youth. Environmental and economic sustainability go hand in hand.

Resilient youth, global future.

Through our Global Youth Resilience Initiative, we provide students—and the people who support them—with the tools to thrive. Exchange is exciting, but it’s also challenging. Resilience is what makes the journey meaningful.
